i like this figure for its headmaster abilities but the legs are not that great to look at and are very difficult to position for display.So i can only give sidways a 6 out of 10

It's cool because you don't know if he's an Autobot or a Decepticon. The purple coloring makes you think he's a Decepticon. He's not trustworthy and that also makes you think what he is. The only problem was, his legs are way too small for the body.

Great vehicle mode, good robot mode with decent proportions despite the lack of poseability. Works better with his minicons than almost any other Armada figure. One of Armada's best, and if you don't like the color wait for Energon's recolor of him.

This toy i give a 8. great idea for an Armada headmaster. its a good idea that the minicons transformations are only heads or else they would be cruddy looking vehicles. Sideways himself should've had more joints and open hands to hold the star saber

i like the BM Thrust Homage it has...but the possiblity makes it lose points. however the character is so cool in the cartoon that i cant give this guy a lower mark

His bike mode is pretty neat and that his Mini-cons can combine and ride on him is nice. The Mini-cons lack a vehicle mode and head modes are not too good either. The feature which they activate it pretty cool. That, and Sideways charcter saves him.

bad transforming, bad in color, bad transformations, BAD EVERYTHING! whatever you do, do not get this toy.

Sideways is the first Armada "Headmaster".He is by far one of the coolest Armada figures.He is definetly worthy of the title of Transformer.He has a G1 feel to him.My rating is a 9. There is a complaint I have,the riders head wont stay in place.

The worst Armada toy period. That head is ugly and I cannot get his "Headmasters" to stay in place.

I gave Sideways a 5 because Sideways has no knees( - 1 point), also his mini-cons lack vichicle modes( hey I would even accept a limo or a sedan)- 2 points, also his face is bad, - 2 points. Good bye!

A poor color scheme with headmaster components that just don't seem to match. An interesting gimmick though, and some decent play value. The toy still could use a bit of work.

THis dude is sweet. He has three heads. Doesn't get much better than that

Looks good as a bike in the package, but disappoints when taken out and the minicons are horrible because they have no vehicle form

Not very posable at all, and too much like another character's paint scheme. With Optimus Primes, you can understand, similar character, but there is a significant difference between Thrust and Sideways.

Looks great as a motorcycle and is ok as a robot. the minicons combined looks great, but apart they are the two ugliest minicons ever! 'Headmaster' ain't great, but will do.

needs more articulation for being a ninja. love the headmaster ability.

Those small feet throw him off, but the head master effects are neat

Sideway is the best of all decepticon ever.

i love this toy! hes very creative usin the oldschool headmaster style on him, but i really widh these guys has tech specs b/c it hard to judge wether hes a confused good guy, or a spy. but he is very much worth a 10

This thing passes as a transformer. ok color scheme. Minicons are ok combined. Headswapping thing is good concept, but kinda lame in in practice.

Sideways is a bomb toy. He is the best

Dont see it as a Thrust knock off more of a bad choice in paint. I wasn't really a big fan of the whole Armada idea, & I never liked Headmasters-so this is a double negative for me. There are better figures you can buy.

So let me get this stright, G1 Jazz has more poseability in his arms than Sideways does in his whole body; Sideways is in the single lamest color ever for a "unknown agent", and the thing he's got going for him is 3 heads. Bruticus he's not.
