Reviews - Armada Sideways w/ Mini-con twins Rook & Crosswise
hes a great tfer only thing bad is his mini con heads are too large to look normal
I like and dislike this arm.toy. I think sideways is pretty cool looking in vechile mode. He is very unposeable in robot mode. His mini-cons are one of the worst ever that i've seen. Also the mini-cons are switch around and are not show accurate.
I do not like this at all. The bike is just kind of stupid and why have two minicons when you can only have one in use really. Not very practical, ugly paintjob. Trys to be the double agent from G1 but fails miserably.
thrust? thrust is that you???
I think that this particular transformer deserves this rating i have given it because the negutive side 2 it is is that it can not hold any mini-con weapon i think many TF fans were disapointed about this but othrwise this TF is a must have for many fans
If you want G1 nostalgia, this is it.... cool look on show, garbage as a toy! So stiff and hardly poseable. The only saving grace that I liked were the minicon twins, which I found were funner to play with!
It is a a very good toy,but when did he have his no-minicon (if it is a mini-con)head and when his mini-cons connect it looks nothing like the show.if it did not have the autobot-decepticon thing it would have been alot worse
i only give it a 9 because crosswise does not work
Sideways is on great action figure. He is on neither side however he is proboly the servent of Unicron.
Very good just needs elbows and knees, legs transform a bit difficult. Full of interesting and inventive features. I say (rarely) go get two, One for play, one for keeps. What do we call the mini combo? EVILMUS PRIME
so-so. I like the headmaster gimmick, but not much else. Not posealbe. He's more of a brick than Scavanger is!
Great idea w/ the Headmaster gimmick, only complaint is the weird feet
i love this guy, so much play factor
SUXS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Meh. So-so. Lame minicons. A nice tribute to the headmasters, and a nice little gimmick, but nothing thrilling. Would have been better if the minicons turned into weapons, too, rather than weird arm decorations.
I love this toy. My major problems with are no knee or elbow articulation and the feet.
The Mini-cons are another race of Transformers. They power link with Sideways to unlock each symbol, that does not mean they are allied with either race. Could use more posability. Love the character in the show. Long live the servant of Unicron!
I really, really want to like this one, but... not that great in any one department to stand out. The double-agent feature is interesting, though... except the legs on the mini-cons take away from what otherwise be a good look.
Sideways is really cool and I like how his minicons combine but I think they should have had a vehicle form.
good figure, GREAT character on the cartoon. lack of elbow and knee joints hurt, but the headmaster gimmick is great. a little better than the average Armada figure.
This is, you got to say, a well thought-out ARMADA toy. I think the chest colors are vis-versa than the show and his lack of mobility and he clicks! He's a supercon! but the minicons and vehicle mode and his helmet modes are perfect. -Scourgejet
Sideways looks really cool And I like how his minicons combine But I think they should have had a robot form.
I love the mercenary/double agent idea (I like G1's Punch/Counterpunch and Doubledealer idea), and what's more, he's a headmaster! Cool!
I like the headmaster idea, but mini's needed a alt mode for powerlinxing. I use them as a crossbow on the arms, wish ha had nee joints
My advice to you is this: Get Sideways only if you're either: 1) A fan of his character, 2) If you like bikes 3) You're a completist. The combined Minicon guy and the dual-hedamster concept is pretty nifty though. I'll give Hasbro credit for that.
