Great figure. Improvements are possible would likely require an upgrade to Voyager class. His Cheeto of doom is awesome.

An 8, I think, would be the most appropriate score to give him. Both beast and dino mode are quite nice. The thing that mostly gets me is his clube doesn't fit right in his hand (it falls easily) and his legs are a little weird because it doesn't snap.

Yet again, WHY DOESN'T THE WEAPON STORE IN BEAST MODE?! There's too much open space in the robot; he never really feels 'closed', and his limbs are somewhat awkward. Weapon in general is a waste of space. At least he looks neat.

only problem is the waist doesn't snap..so it falls down easily

Snarl is very cool looking in both modes. transformation not to hard. the legs in robot mode are very fragile, or at least on mine. i love the "attack mode" in robot mode that they added. It gives it the "im going to kick your butt feeling :).Overall good

I give him a solid seven because his dino mode looks really good, but his robot mode feels really awkward. Really would have made a better voyager class figure and give the designers more room to work with.

one look at snarl, knew i had to get him. looks like a real dino, only they shud have hide the head totally in dino mode and the club is only orange in color, no black like the pics but still like him a lot.

Great figure!!! Hes very well done compared to other Animated figs. He may not be Grimlock, but still deserves a full 10.

I love this little guy. My only complaint is he is not a voyager class.

He's a ok deluxe figure, coud've been alot better if that made him a voyager class. Show accurate, good Dino form. Transformation is basic, not too hard. Robot made lacks, lose hip/waist and very bulky. 6/10 stars

Slag is hard to gauge. on his own he looks pretty cool. dino mode is nice as any trike in the past. transformation is a bit more complicated than you'd expect. but standing next to Grimlock shows how lacking he is. buy him after you get the other wave 3's

Great alt. mode. Very stocky build in root mode. Loses points for hip section not staying together and cheesy club. Very small for a Dinobot. Pass on him for Jazz or Soundwave from wave 3. Mainly good just to complete collection, hope Swoop is better.
