Reviews - Universe Cheetor (Beast Wars version)
my first beast wars figure..first impression-not bad, nice beast mode, robot mode is so so..worth more than most rotf deluxe class figures
I give this figure a 9, The back kibble is not as bad as I'd thought it'd be, never owning the original cheetor this is a great addition to my collection. (I wonder if hasbro will repaint him into tigatron?)
I am NOT impressed with this figure at all. While I like the complexity and the decent range of posability, the arms are stubby and are lazily designed to be more or less useless. Also, the humongous backpack seems out of place.
cool, but his tail will not stay in his hand
better than the original needs a better weapon
This is an ok figure. The Walmart in my town has it's TF figures on clearance so that is why I picked him up(can't beat five bucks for a figure). He has a big, bulky backpack and his arms are kinda wierd. Transmetal Cheetor is a much better figure.
I don't why people are harping on Cheetor. In truth, he great! The shoulders could stay in place, but his bot mode real nice. And the cheetah mode's is also nice. My recommendation? Give him a chance, you might like him.
The original Cheetor is a far better toy than this new one but I like it more than the original because it's far more interesting in aesthetics and execution. The backpack is tolerable and I think the arm kibble can be modded without hurting the alt mode.
I wasn't too sure about this Cheetor untill I got him out of the package. I have to say that I love the Beast mode. He looks more like a sleek Cheetah than the original toy did. The Robot mode however leaves a little to be desired. I still like it.
Cheetor's the reason that I'm a TFan; this figure is painful. The beast mode is great and the eye gimmick is a nice reference, but it can't fix the robot mode. Bio is terrible. Reminds me of 10thAnniv OP and Megs being mixed of BW and BM. ONLY 4 DIEHARDS!
When I saw cheetor at toys r us I was very happy. i got it and brought it home with me along with movie mudflap

very nice figure. not to accurate with show. somewhat easy and hard to transform at first but easy when first done. arms are short and do not resemble box picture of robot mode. overall nice look and worth your collection, but not your toy.
As a Beast Wars fan, I'm disappointed. Figure has better poseability than the original but has way too much kibble. Star gimmick is nice but doesn't make up for the legs being in the way of the arms and the huge "backpack" on his back. A definite pass.
I am not a huge beastwars fan. Figure is okay. Detail is cool. I like the detail and color.
Great paint job, nifty eye-color-change gimmick, funtransformation. Neither the robot nor the cheetah are terribly pleasant to look at, backpack/kibble issues. Weapons aren't very good. Decent head sculpt. If you have the original, it's better than this.
Cheetah mode is sleek, robot mode is not "show accurate" but cool. Photos of robot arms on previous pics are incorrect, actual transformation looks great, shoulders attach to torso, however arms are a little short. Tail club lame. Weapon storage cool.
