Reviews - Armada Street Speed Team (Oval, Backtrack, Spiral)
these little guys are alsome i call mine the fast track team
They all look cool, and they're the most poseable Mini-cons I own. Backtrack's arms tend to snap off, but they can be popped back on since they're on ball joints. You can even get Oval to sit down.
Carmodes look good, roll well. Robot modes are niiicely articulated. Seemingly no connective purpose, but good one their own.
Realistic looking car modes: yes. Neat colors: yes. Impressive transformations: yes. Super posabable: no. Fragile arms and legs: yes. Cool looking robot modes: yes.
These guys rock. They are one of the best minicons sets. They are just a little smaller than the g1 mini cars. The have sweet transformations. The car modes are awesome. They have robat modes that are just as cool
Nothing bad for their size, amazing articulation, but very fragil guys, carefull with them. Overall a must have
Excited to get them and then somewhat let down. Car modes are perfect and the robot modes great, but the orange guy doesn't want to stay together at the hips and all theier arms fly off easily.....still, a high recommendation.
I have Airrazor so I have Nightscream and Oval and Nightscream had a faceoff and the other ones are ok.
Lack of a team 'gimmick' doesnt' bother me at all. Complex transformations and posability makes these a worthwhile buy. Nice detailing for such tiny toys. I'd like to see a little more paint detailing on these guys, but overall very well done.
A+ on articulation. D- on "staying together-ability". Maybe I'm just too rough with my toys. Also, no gimmicks. I like gimmicks. They're too plain for the price.
TO-TO-LY COOL!!!!!!!!!! Flawless!!!!!!!!!!
These are the best minicon toys so far. They have a great level of articulation, a cool set of robot modes and have their pwoer link ports in places where they don't stand out (unlike dualor and buzzsaw).
I think they spent more time desighning these guys then they did on the big guys. they should have made these into delux or ultra.
I like these minicons because there not like the others they don't fire missiles they don't have moving parts or combine, they have speacial articulated arms and legs and I like the change.
Nice little cars.that they are.except they could have put a little more detail into it
very nice set, I got 5 set already. love it. I even repaint one of my set to the Japanese exclusive. mad props to Hasbro.
The cars look good. Oval's upper body can't stay in place! Can someone please tell me how to get them not to fall apart! 2 words for Hasbro METAL PINS! As for you, save your money for Dark Saber! EVILMUS PRIME
This set of mini-cons is OK. I give it an 8 because BK's arm always falls off when you TF him (this brings it to a 9) Then O's legs are impossible to get. Great toy. Worth the money
this is so far the best mini-con team. vehicle mode is brilliant, transformation to robot is very ingenieous, fun how hasbro put so much in these litte guys, hotshot and blurr are most likely the bots for this team to join
cool little robots
I think they are greatly done except they dont staand well and my ovaldoesnt seem to transform correctly other than they are the best minicons yet
I didn't notice there were no gimmicks on this one, but by the time i found out it was too late,it dropped my expectations for armada. What made it worse was that my "Oval" in the set had been carelessly molded and couldn't transform properly.
Nice arculation and great modes.
Would love to give this a higher rating.. but I can't. Molds are good.. but team just seems to want to fall apart. Oval's legs won't attach properly to the chest. Spiral has had to be fixed twice. Backtrack is the most stable of the group.
Intricate, very cool. I give major props. Just wish they weren't ALL cars. Not my favorite minicon set, but a must have. At first almost skipped over, becasue I thought "Extra poseable" was a LAME gimmick. Big mistake. ^^
