Love this fig! Really has that intimidating look. Great detail. Sword gimmick is cool. Easy transformation for a leader class fig. Looks really good in both modes. Better late then never, glad i scooped this up.

do not skip this toy. he is amazing. swords are creative and the robot looks impozing just like the leader of the cons should. looks closer to his return of convoy self than g1 though

Chopper looks better without gun,which pops off of the shield with a bit of work,and with secondary landing gear down.Unfortunate huge gap requires gun/shield to complete.Excellent bot mode,flawless and imposing.Hardly needs the gun with the two swords!

One of the best Megatrons ever. Wonderful detail, awesome altmode, rotating heli-blades, Headmaster compatability, and three voice phrases...do the math! Minus one point for losing posability in the legs, but aside from that, get him if you can!

Awesome looking, great alt. mode and overall very fun. Transformation very simple for a leader class, even for a voyager, but that doesnt matter. Do NOT pass this figure up. ( unless you can't afford him )

Nice leader figure, neat gimmicks. My front cannon seems to be a little trippy, and the inclusion of landing gear when the cannon is off is... an odd choice. Fun sound clips, neat robot mode, only dodged a 10 because it was too simple

I am very pleased with this figure. My only problem is the odd looking knees, but that is hardly enough to detract from the splendid scuplt and show accuracy (as well as strong G1 influences) that make this figure a must buy.

An absolutely flawless toy and one of the best transformers ever. He has good articulation, good display value, good weapons and an awesome alt mode. If you only get one figure in Animated, get this one.

One of the best Megatrons ever. Some knee problems and hair trigger missile hardly detract from amazing look and awesomeness of essentially the G1 design made more badass. Helicopter is perfect alt mode choice. Transformation simple yet fun.

Best megatron toy in a long time especially because of G1 homage and show accuracy. I am somewhat biased towards this one because animated is my favorite megs from a show. Only problem I have with him is plastic feels too light like classics jetfire's.

Great toy! Very show accurate and a great homage to G1. The chopper blade swords are fantastic and the removable cannon is awesome! His ankles are a little loose and hes knock-kneed. Looks great in bots modes for such a simple transformation. Pick him up!

This is one of the best Megatrons they released in a long time. Looks cool standing next to my Energon Megatron. Definitely better than the Movie Megs. Yeah I have to agree that the missle fires off too easy.

Based on a real helicopter I've seen. Didn't see who made it. Had dual counter rotating rotors just like Megatron. Best Megs in a long time. Better than Movie Leader Class Megs.

Best Megatron since Beast Wars. This toy is almost flawless. I say almost because of his voice (it sounds nothing like Corey Burton) and his arms won't attach to the shoulders completely (though this may just be on mine). Overall, a great figure.

Pros: This is a fantastic rendition of G1 inspired Megatron. Angles/style are awesome. Great bot/altmode. Cool cannon gimmick. Extremely possible. Cons: Cannon could be bigger and attach w/o the plate. Perpetually knock-kneed. Transformation to simple.

that's right, this guy is perfect in my eyes. instead of telling you how awesome he is, i'll tell you the small nit-picks: i wish the blades were trigger operated, he's a bit knock-knee'd, and his gun fires a bit too easy... that's it. get him ASAP!!!

WOW is all i can say, love the phrases, love the wicked transformation,easy and very show accurate. animated at its best. the sword gimmic is Springer done right. i think the copter is a great new mode for megs.losses a point for his legs hard to pose.

Wow. I'm so glad I picked up this figure. Fantastic articulation, awesome sword gimmick. Only problem is that the arms don't lock properly...

Perhaps closest thing to a perfect Transformer in a long time. One of the best Megatrons ever. Great scale, cannon is not only removable but can be on either arm. blades/swords gimmick is great. Have both Megs from this line now & this is by far the best.
