Reviews - Armada Adventure Team (Dune Runner, Ransack, Iceberg)
optimas prime one of the coolist transformers i've ever seen all though i don't have him i just think he kick ass
NOT THAT GOOD !!
DR and IB are lame. Ransack looks cool in truck mode, bot mode is kinda weak. Ugly color too. I like the Cliffjumper repaint better, but dont want Cheetor. Same problem with Scavenger/Rollbar.
this micron team is awesome! I espeacily like ransaks wench.
me
All good, and btw does'nt Iceberg look like a little tiny Rhinox head sculpt was added on top? No wonder it's remold was given to Armada Rhinox. (refuses to get beast wars repaints no matter wha little vehicles connect to them, purple cheetor, blargh!)
The reason why I gave this a 7 because Ransack's hook is small and easy to lose. Thats what happened to mine so my dad had to make one. Come on Hasbro, yah can tie the hooks tighter man. Come on, geez!
One of the best teams I own. Would have liked it if RS had a better gear gimmick. Still, they have some awesome vehicle modes.
These mincons are great to have the have cool transformations. Im not sure who the leader is but in my thought it should be dune runner
If they were real vehicles, what would that claw-thing do?? He looks like Pac-Man rolling around. I know this is fiction, but let's keep it real. I'm glad I bought them on sale.
Very poor. The Mini-cons themselves are over-sized, and the gimmicks are a waste of time.
Hey they kind of remind me of gobots. I guess anything is better than nothing. Go- cosmos!
Dune Runner is the only one that works with cyclonus. I give iceberg the best hidden head. Ransack works pretty well with Thrust.
They get An 8 because they have really cool vehicle forms but Ransacks robot form is horrable and has a bad Powerlinks spot.
Ammending my previous review. Why? Because the linx on two of the minicons (the duner buggy and ice-thinger) DON'T FIT!! I don't know about your toys, but I find thi unnaceptable!
Nice altering gimmics, but the pull down legs and swing out arms are to simple and boring, but for mini-cons at least they don't fall apart! EVILMUS PRIME
The only part that I like of this team are the gimmicks, vehicle modes are nice especially Iceberg, transformation to robot mode is boring, details in they're faces could have been beter.
These are the some of the best mini-cons I have ever owned ,they are really cool!!
DISSAPOINTING! Though these guys are larger than most minicons, their transformations are lame! Even the gimmick (hook to cyclonus for and spin the propellers) has already ben done with the Destruction team. They're expensive micromasters with powerlinx.
The transforming are simple and uninspired. However I do like the sculpt of the figures. DR is the best one out of the bunch. RS is just to darn flat. IB's gimic doesn't work on mine. It moves.. but not very much.
Nice vehicle modes, but uninspired TF's and primitive scamble city (brick) bot modes. Not half as good as the Destruction Team. Gimmicks work, but Iceberg's is pointless. Awkward powerlinx makes Ransack useles. Dunerunner is only worthwhile mini.
These guys are nothing really special. Just another case of Hasbro getting a little over zealous with the gimmicks. Better done than the Destruction Team, but not up to the caliber of other new minicons.
IB is cool in both modes. DR is ok. RS gimmick is cool but robot mode is bad.
worse mini-cons I've seen no posibility at all, powerlinx on Dune and Ran are in bad places, biger then all the other mini-cons
I would rate this set as average, at best. The transforms are uninspired and the robot modes leave something to be desired. I do like the vehicle modes, but the powerlink point on RS bugs me for some reason, he just kind of sticks out there.
