Only get him for his car mode, which is very cool! ^_^ I just think his robot mode isnt even worth bothering with.

not many armada toys have good articulation and hes one of them. the minycon is cool. i like how sidewipe can hide nightbeat. nightbeat is cute.

Great looking car mode. Robot mode is so-so. Bad posability. Bad minicon. If you're shooting to collect them all then you know what you have to do, but I wouldn't scower the couch cussions for pennies to buy this toy.

Despite the saddle bags on this figure, I really love Sideswipe. He has pretty good posability, has karate chop action, and wears shades! Now NB, OTOH... Yuck. Love the flip-back hiding place for him, though.

Wait for a sale the only things preventing me from giving him a 1 is the minicon pop up gimmick behind him and the extending hood thing his bot mode and nightbeat's stinks! Wait for a sale

Cool car. I love that NB can fit inside of him and "eject". However... NB in robot mode looks like a bike that was put through a meat grinder. Where are his arms? Oh, they're tires. Super. As for SS's robot mode. What's that between his legs??

you peeps are crazy this is a great toy...and its a great tribute to the G1 line. sure the minicon could be better and the windshild could go somewhere eles but the deatail that went into this figure makes it well worth the price.

Admit it, his car mode is awsome & the Autobot symbol rocks. You transform him and you say, "What the f@&#$! happened? If you're a true TF fan you know you can't resist getting him anyways. But I warn you prepare to be a little dissappointed!!

Sideswipe is a cool armada toy he can powerlink for extra speed.

He get's a Six for this reason: Nightbeat has a great Alt. Mode and I LOVE Sideswipe in Alt. Mode, he'd be great a repaint into a Police car. I like his weapons bit his ROBOT mode STINKS! Nightbeats Robot mode only puncuates this by suc_king more....

sideswipe is a horrible toy no design or anything its is possibly the worst armada toy ever it makes pre-school transformers look cool

if the vehicle wasn't so cool looking i would have thrown this toy out.

What? This guy deserves a 0, I swear. Hasbro's like "Let's show them why they don't want realistic cars" while doing hand gestures to put their RiD Car brothers in a draw while showing you the all new, all poorly made Sideswipe.

Vehicle mode is great, from the waist up iffy, but waist down, that's another story. Best part other than vehicle mode is his face, gives him personality. Minicon: did someone rip Cy-Kill's arms off? No, I'm sorry Cy-Kill, I didn't mean to insult you.

Whats with the popeye fourarms? I get it. He must have eaten his spinich.

NB is a great idea, but not well executed. SS like NB, in veh mode is very sharp! his gun is of early BW (put together weapons), pieces are too easy to loose. robo mode everything just hangs on him. less than average tfing, i feel sorry for how ugly he is

Some pics would have you believe he's worse than he is. His car mode is kickin', and car mode gimmicks aren't bad. As for his robot mode, his arms aren't bad if you don't extend the hood parts, but the legs are really brutal. Nightbeat truly blows.

Interesting, but weak Minicon. The car mode is nice, and I love the 'flip-up' motorcycle gimic. The robot mode is probably the weakest armada robo-mode yet, both in looks and articulation.

Sideswipe is cool! Sweet car mode. The Autobot symbol is done the way all the Symbols should have been done. Looks good in robot mode. Loses a point for poor leg articulation.

i think this toy is really good the only thing weridabout him are his legs

he is a little odd in robot mode but I do like his minicon a lot. This one is important to me because the G2 Sideswipe was one of my frist transformers

Now this is a pretty nice piece of work.His mini-con is very imaginative,but his legs are super-fat.no fun there

Very nice toy, in car mode, love the new look, but suffer from the bot mode, I just keep him in the car mode. a very intresting looking bot.
