Good looking toy with an interesting design

Sweet. He looks like Armada Dinobot.

This toy is sweet. His mini con is pretty weak but hoist totaly makes up for it. my only complaint is that his non shovel arm should be able to move both ways at the elbow.

gimmic's boring, other than that it's cool

I find this toy very boring, transformation is to simple.

I like the articulation, but I hate the freakish arms. I also don't like that his left arm is basically kibble in vehicle mode.

WOW now this is a transformer one of the best of all time the articulation the posability the stability all make this one of the best ever BUY IT NOW!

A 9 because his Minicon powerlinx don't work and I am not sure what Refute is suppose to be in Vehicle form. Other than that his one really cool Transformers.

Now this is what Smokescreen should have been to start with. Good posability, good robot and vehicle mode. It's cool how he almost looks like Dinobot with the face.

Hoists color scheme is awsome. His vehicle mode is great too. The shovel as one of his arms & hands just seems a little uneven for his robot mode. At the same time he looks like he can seriously smack around some Decepticons with that shovel hand.

It's a good TF minus the bad car mode. Looks like a playskool toy ( like Hot Shot )

I love Hoist. Refute shouldn't have been made, but I like how you don't need him for anything on Hoist. I like how the legs are similar to G1 Hoist's in design. My only complaint is the lack of a "hoisting" mechanism.

Hoist rocks. Refute is lame, but he's huge. Hoist's modes look cooler than any other TFA, IMHO. His gimmick is lacking, but still fun. I wanna know the joke behind 'San Diego 1974' tho... Solid, fun, and good-lookin'. Hoist rocks.

Hoist is pretty cool! His transformation is very cool. The arm gimmick is habit forming and he is very posible for a armada toy. His mini-con is to be ignored.

Best bang for the buck in Armada with the arguably worst Minicon. Super-posable, some nice features, and a "grab" action of sorts will make this a favorite for many, and the detailling is good, too. Fun, quick transformation. Buy 2, they're cheap.

BW-era posibility, great detail, great tformation, and the coolest, best working gimmick to date. Hard to believe that this is from Armada, but he's absolutely worth it. Minicon Refute is so-so, but Hoist is a must buy.

Only flaw: he's lacks anything distinguishing about him.

This guy does look like an upgrade from Smokescreen. I really like the gear feature on refute. I just wish that his legs were more easily posed.
