Reviews - Armada Overload w/ Rollout
Fun toy, with more then enough features (Sound effect, alt-modes) to make up for lack of poseability.
very fun toy! Could have better poseability though.
When you hear the loud ratchet clank noises from the joints I was back in G1 heaven. A very stout and well designed bot with a nice added sound effect that other Armadas' lacked.
if you have super optimus prime and jet fire then you must have overload. this guide makes the trio worth the money you're spending than if your just had jetfire and optimus. very coo transformarion and weapon mode.
An inspired transformation, the original transforming sound, awesome mini-con(that also turns into a hand held gun) A triple changer with a third mode being a giant artillery backpack for Prime or his base mode! Static robot mode. Only reason not a 10
I don't like this one cause it took my name! Armada is the second to the last best transformers series.
A very static toy, yet MAN! This guy can do it all, and with a triple changer, double sized mini-con, Overload is going to be a classic. Combiner mode with Op is a little
He is tood small and bulky. I love Rollout, though.
Only a 9 because his robot form is lacking. He's truly a retro headmaster, and the added 'transformation' noise in robot mode just makes him a very cool armada figure. More a giant accessory than an actual figure, though. Very nice combined with OP.
I love this toy! He looks awesome combined with op' and jetfire and is cool on his own. I could play withh him for hours!
great! He may have low posability but he looks extremly cool. The Minicon feature is very headmaster-ish. And the transform sound adds another point.
Overload loses big points with a very brick like Robot form. His great sound byte and novelty of having a headmaster like quality in his mini-con help. His trailer mode and especially his attachment to Optimus are cool, but man his robot mode is no good.
Y'know when I first saw a pic of this I thought it was a joke! A little bitty robot towing this stack of rasberry pastries,...
How does hasbro expect us to accept something like this especially after the super articulated Beast Wars toys. The sound was probably added to add some value to a design that seems like something out of the 80's. Horrible toys, a real shame.
hes not here
robot mode is more of an unarticulated brick (like G-1), but he's also a combo head/target master. Combined forms look great, makes OP a little topheavy, but placing legs just right will overcome it. LOVE THE CLASSIC TRANSFORMING SOUND VOICE CHIP!
This is a great toy. It is initially junk, but is one of those ones that grows on you as you become more aquainted with how it transforms and operates.
Don't like the vehicle mode that much. Rollout is to big but I guess it has to so it can pull Overload. Robot mode is awsome except the part where Rollout becomes overload's head. Combined with Prime and Jetfire looks really cool.
Not to impressed. Returned him to help get Unicron. mini-con is huge and sound was good, but Overload didn't do anything for me.
Even though he isnt posable, he's worth it. He looks cool, he can combine, and his transformation noise is excellent. (its not cheap sounding, its very clear like orginal) His mini-con is like on steriods or something...
Nearly unposable robot and dull vehicle mode are offset by the insane amount of things you can do with him. He's weaponry, he's a battle station, and he can somewhat combine with the Battepants and Jetfire. $20 well spent if you have the other toys.
Awesome transforming sound! Sorta cool robo mode. Sorta cool combiner mode. meh.
only reason i like this one is because of the transformins sound, and the mini-con homage to the headmasters. otherwise, it looks great as a bookend.
Only worth it if you have prime and jetfire. If not he only rates a 6. Combined modes look neat, but I'm not sure I did them right. Classic transform sound is perfect.
Rollout is a Targetmaster and a Headmaster and Overload, hes a triple changer! the Transforming-noise sound chip in him is the coolest feature. Overload lacks poseability, but his colors are very nice and compatability with the others makes him awesome.
