Reviews - Movie ROTF Ransack
awesome alt mode and good bot mode. Hampered how ever by joints that are either loose or like to pop off. even so Baron Ransack Von Joy is a must buy.
He's awesome. Unfortunatley, he's very spindly and fragile, so be careful with him.
i love the alt mode. robot mode looks elderly but menissing. only quible is the bottom of the wings clipping in to the elbow
Amazing and very unique figure..plane mode is just unbelievable, robot mode is ok..
cool but parts pop off to easily
a cool figure in both modes
pros: retro awesome alt mode, good trnsfrmtion, crazy robot mode, cool head cons: there are none :)
my first and probably last scout figure. i don't usually get scouts, but this one seemed in scale and i like the vehicle. the robot mode is a bit flimsy, but i like the skeletal look. transformation is just right difficulty.
Too flimsy. Great vehicle mode, nice alt mode, though legs could stand to pose better. All in all, a neat figure. Nothing amazing here, and some of the parts in robot mode seemed too cluttered together.
Awesome! Only wished the wheels rolled. Otherwise, great all around.
DEfinetly worth picking up!
The best scout figure out there. The biplane alternate mode is super sweet. It's all pegged and the pieces fit together tightly. Great color scheme. I love the guns on the arms in both modes. Solid robot mode. Only negative is the legs are a bit stiff.
Everything tabs or pegs or snaps, tight vehicle mode. Looks great next to movie Incinerator and Blackout. Swivel waist, thigh panels, lots of articulation for size. Arms do pop off easy, but ball joints are like that.
My only beef with this great figure is his arms pop off way to easy..other than that he is fantastic!
Would give this guy a 16 if I could. Alt mode has so little kibble on it that it is hard to identify as a TF toy when fully converted you could easily mistake him for an air museum gift shop toy if not for decepticon logos. Will be getting any repaints.
Dig the old-school/retro biplane alt mode. It doesn't look like the biplane will hold together well but it surprisingly does! Robot mode is also good but the arms pop off a lot. In my opinion, this is the best scout class figure in the ROTF line. Buy him!
The first ever TF biplane, if I'm not mistaken. Great alt mode, and a unique, insecticidal bot mode--love the skeletal face. Got this guy at Walgreens for $2.99 (probably a mistake in the system)--pick him up if you get a chance.
Another great scout-size figure.Highly poseable, great stying and color, skeletal and hunched bot mode that suits his bio.Arms tend to separate at the shoulders easily.I imagine he dies REALLY fast in the movie, but we'll all feel terrible for him, won't we?
This figure was such a surprise to me when I opened him! I thought I would hate him when I first saw pictures of him, but boy was I wrong. I love the retro styling and he kinda looks like EV-9D9 from Star Wars. A must buy for anyone. A++
wow Im in love...love the retro alt mode...good robot...100% fun...cant wait to see him in the movie! awesome little guy
One of the most complex scout class figures to date! Involved transformation - sweet looking bot and alt modes for scouts. May be hard to find, found only one in a sea of ROTF scout class figures (1 per cases), but definitely worthy of purchase.
