Reviews - Energon Hot Shot
Okay car mode, but robot mode is disappointing. Biggest drawback are the shoulder joints which really limit his pose and playability. Like the Armada version, he still resembles a preschool toy in vehicle mode. The clear headlamps are a nice touch.
average for superlink figures. got him cos i had rodimus
to simple ...
better than armada hot shot
The exact opposite of the enegon saber team.
i like to race him and crbertron hotshot he is really good to race alsome
I like his new door colours! He's definly better than the armada one.Good job, whoever designed him.
Love it. Just thought it had not enough motion in the arms.
Cool color , but come on what happend with his leggs , and the articulation , hey hasbro nice try he can combine with any one
i thought this hot shot was pretty friggin sweet, although the paint on his face does chip easilly, have yall checked out the new powerlinx deluxe hot shot?! now that ones awsome nice new colors!
Great update to the armada mode. better articulation in robot mode and better looking car mode.
Good car and powerlink mode but robot mode sux
He is pretty good. The top of the car is far too small and the same goes for the robot mode arms but as legs he makes a nice Powerlinx combo.
Great car mode but i think you really need inferno for more fun.
cool porsche looking mode, but dissapointing robot mode (head, chest).
Considering that this is Energon we're talking about, his car mode is pretty sweet. Fans of Armada Sideswipe's auto mode rejoice. TF'n is pretty simple, but I do like both modes and Powerlinx. Try Hot Shot top & Rodimus bottom.
Car is descent. Robot mode is too blocky. Arms are weak. Makes a good combine with Inferno as the lower body, so maybe a 6.5.
Why leave a Transformer somewhere? Even if a TF is really bad one can always keep him for the collection or sell it via Ebay. Throwing him away is a waste. The kid was pretty stupid as well. Why break a new Transformer? It just doesz not make sense.
If I can get a Transformer for free I would always like it. ;-) Every TF has a good point but there are some I am not willing to pay full price for. Hot Shot is cool though and gets a 7.5 from me.
Better than Rodimus, worse than Inferno. What is there to say? Paint is scratched easily, the plastic near the windows is weak, especially since u cant help BUT knock it into the Energon post. Horrible Powerlinx Hot Shot mode too. Decent body though.
Arm posability is bad. Rest is good. Face looks even more childish than Armada Hot Shot.
I like the yellow, futuristic car. The robot mode looks ok but it certainly can be improved. The toy doesn't really looks good in both powerlinx modes. As the upper mode, its arms look wierd. As the lower mode, its legs are a bit skinny.
I just had to review this ill-conceived yellow block of junk again. The kid down the street found it in the schoolyard I abandoned it in and intentionally broke it in the span of two days.A toy has to stink big time in order to enrage a toddler.
Both of his incarnations so far are awful. He's a block of cheddar with wheels. Terrible articulation and proportions. I left mine in a schoolyard sandbox same day I got him, maybe a toddler will give him a more loving home,or a firecracker up the bum...
I just love the new hotshot toy it was one of the first energon toys I got and its one of the best, he looks good in both his powerlinx modes combined with anyone, his fist area bit big but I dont care.
