One of the cheesiest transformers ever. arms come apart easily. Powerlinking is HORRIBLE and robot mode is very UGLY. car mode is average..I dont recommend it at all. I did not buy it and I am glad. if you can sample it before buy it. you be the judge

Those arms just look so cheap. Ball & socket joints waiting to fall off. But it is not a bad toy. For the price, it cannot touch Starscream though.

While it might not be as good as other energon toys, it kicks the armada's hotshot's ass! Better articulation and a cool and simple transformation make this one worth the £10 I bought him for. Don't like how the head attaches onto the body though.

Not that good overall. The head is ugly, the arms are built oddly, the top half combination form is weak (tho used as the bottom half, it's solid) decent vehicle mode, but a weak robot. Still, buy to make Inferno's new legs, if you can spare the $$.

He is ok. the only thing I don't like is how hard it is to make him the top in powerlinx mode and he looks like an egg when he transforms. everything else is good.

Hot Shot is a very simple toy to transform. Looks a lot like the cartoon, and combines very nicely with Prowl and Inferno.

I love the new Hotshot a lot better than the armada one. the only thing I dont like about him are his arms in powerlinx hotshot, there just to big.

Great vehicle mode. Detailed and realistic, and little robotic kibble. Articulation is decent, however he has no knees, which is a no-no. His face is limp and lifeless. Robot mode is pretty plain and flat. Powerlinx leg mode is lame, arm mode is decent.

Whoever designed this toy should be fired. Out of a cannon. Preferably into an open sewage lagoon. It's just that bad! PS: The word some of you are looking for is lunatic, for what it's worth.

i agree with dinobot. and rodimus prime, does it really matter if he spells it right?, I mean we are all tf fans here with are own oppinions. ( did i spell that wrong Rodimus?)

This is a sweet toy. Must get for any real collector unlike Dinobot there. He looks better than his Armada form. By the way lunitik is not how you spell it, its lunitic

Decent toy, but you could do alot better with your $10 bucks than Hotshot. His car mode is fair, but his bot mode (much like Armada) is horrible.

Better than the Armada one. If it wasn't for his wussy arms, I'd like this one a lot. The car mode is sweet.

Prior to seeing Alternators, I'd have said car had nice detailing! But for a $10 Energon toy it's not bad. Something about face sculpt really bugs me. Car to bot tf'n is a little basic, BUT powerlink MODES & the complexity that brings, make it worthwhile

This version of Hot Shot is more impressive than his Armada form. Poor head sculpt though. Once again Hot Shot got screwed in the head department by the designers. I wonder if it was needed to make the transformation work?

This hot shot is cooler than his old form in armada. The gun is much cool to. The transform is awasom and his robot mode is grat too. He is able to combine with inferno also. THats really cool. THe energon is much cooler

I had a chance to sample this one in my best friends house. All I can say is that I felt sorry for him. this is a horrible example of what transformers should NOT BE. dont buy it, waste of money

Much cooler than the Armada version, looked like a happy meal reject. Cool car, Aston Martin? His head is weird, but not that fat, stupid looking thing on the Armada version.

This guy is really cool. His car mode is very nice. His robot mode is fine. His arms are a bit too small, but my main gripe is his head. It's too tall. If his head was more shaped like the one in the comic, it'd be great. Reccomended.

Cool car mode, interesting, if uninspiring, robot form. Is better as the "pants" for any Powerlinx combination. Funny looking head.

I figured they couldn't do worse than ARM HS, man was I wrong. The plastic is cheap, almost see through. The arms are small, & the head is just bad. If you PL use him as legs. The Vmode, has no locking spaces, & doesn't hold well, in short bring back Jolt

looks good apart from the head and his car mode is exellent however i hate hot rod thats the problem little biased sos but good figure non the less

well itz ok...i dun like hiz head the red thing on his head wont come down i want it to to cover his eyes i kinda like armada better
