Reviews - Energon Hot Shot
really cool car, love the hood and engine. Huge improvement over Armada baby toy hotshot, Combiner too! If you want to have a good laugh put them side by side. I took my Armada Hotshot outside for Target shooting.
I REALLY THOUGHT THEY COULD HAVE DONE ALOT MORE AS FAR AS ARTICULATION,BUT HIS CAR MODE IS SUPERB.NOT A BAD TRANSFORMER,JUST NOT AS GOOD AS MOST.
not to impressed, they could have done a much better job with his leg articulation. I prefer Inferno over hotshot. But i love his car form, the hood and engine feature is nice.
Awesome vehicle mode, love that both doors and hood open (not to mention the engine details), powerlinx hot shot doesn't impress, can't wait to see how Rodimus and Hot shot get along in energon, very nice overall
BEAT ME UP AND CALL ME ENERGON PRIME........THIS TOY IS THE BUSYNESS!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love his car mode but the bot mode does nothing for me. In fact, I think his poor articulation and bad head sculpt really reduce this one for me. At least he looks better animated and in the Dreamwave drawings.
If it weren't for the fact that he combines w/ inferno, i would have skipped him. His leg articulation is horrilble, and his head doesn't move either. His arms are good, but he just doesn't excite. car mode however is nice and smooth. Nothing great.
Eh, he is mediocre at best. Inferno is the better of the 2, But of course he is sold separately. So this review is on Hot Shot alone. Not much to say really, he's not that great, just okay. Nothing to exciting with this one unless you also have Inferno
Alone he's not that hot. Especially when compared with his counterpart Inferno who's articulation makes him very posable unlike H.S. His real value comes when he's combined with Inferno. His head and his legs DON'T move at all. W/out Inferno he's boring
Need to mention I found a way to turn Powerlinx Hot Shot/Inferno into a super Powerlinx combat jet just by adding 2 sets of wings taken off any G1 Decepticon jets. Hot Shot in the back & Inferno up front. Bulky but cool, I'll try to show you a picture.
Really cool transformation but head doesn't turn. Arms a little bit small. Bulky but still acceptable arms as Powerlinx Hot Shot. Great as Powerlinx Inferno because legs are articulated. Cool-looking weapon.
Very good. Only two complaints: 1 the whole setup of the head. 2 the arms are kind of gimpy looking
Looks awesome. It's sort of an aston martin vanquish (look at front grill and overall cars shape). It's pretty cool im not the biggest fan of yellow maybe theyll do a red repaint like from Armada.
yet another awsome hotshot toy it is awsome heads a little disapointing but WHO CARES ITS AWSOME
This toy is better than Armada Hot Shot. Only compplaiint is his faceand his legs. I mean his legs can move back and forth but the joints are way too tight. I really would have got him a 9.5 but it only goes through 1 to 10.
Face is hokey, but I'm diggin' the car mode and his legs in robot mode. I agree with Outrider, he's better than the Armada playskool version. Still I would've liked to see some neat graphix painted on the car.
Cool car mode, is that a 350Z? Robot mode looks much better than the Armada version, he actually looks not like a Playskool transformer.
I'm a bigger fan of this one than the Armada one..and I love that he can combine with Inferno. A very smooth combination unlike Landfill.
I like his car mode better than his armada one but his robot mode is ugly, however when he combines with Inferno he's better!
He has A really cool looking car mode A lot better than the Armada one, but his robot mode is sort of like the Armada one, A really bad looking head and hardly no arm articulation.
Cool Car! He merges real well from the looks on the internet. The robot form is a little weirder then the one from Armada.
REALLY great looking car mode! Smooth TFation between the 2 he makes the NRgon combiner gimmick cool as his legs becoming the combiner's arms when he's the torso. But I like how Inferno doesn't use the same TFation formula. This toy's got style!
