Iornhide is just plain awsome. Why do people thing his head looks stupid he has A VISOR!!!

First time i saw him in vehicle mode I thought it was a gobot but now i have him I think he pretty cool robot mode is good but still think that vehicle looks like a gobot.

i think it is a great toy, when i see him, he seems like the younger brother of Red Aler. I think its a great toy, in all modes. hes a great link to jet fire

Really great robot mode, truck mode better than I expected. Great poseability.

i like this guy a lot more than i thought i would. the only tow problems i have are the fact he has no guns that he can hold, and his head in vehicle mode. his two guns sux. overall though, i was pleastly suprised. his powerlinx ironhide mode is cool

great robot mode and ok sounds matter fact the whole thing is actually good untill u get to the part where his head is sticking up through the roof. hasbro wat the #@!# were u thinking. btw pwrlinx isnt that great

Bot's overall body symmetry, color scheme, detailing & posability are outstanding. Truck is kinda kiddy & yeah head SHOULD be concealed better. Tho bot to truck tf'n is basic; the complexity involved to make him combine in 2 dif ways makes this toy great.

Wow at first i was skeptical the stupid head in jeep mode and the least best seller of the bunch but all in all one of the best.

Odd looking Mega robot in either mode. Looks powerful and is great with Jetfire, but otherwise, average transformer. Does look like a Go-bot.

The Vmode looks like a redo RedAlert & the Rmode has many nice features(I DIG THE LEGS). Now, hide the head, no TF should ever have a head on top like that, 'specialy for $20. Also, if I have to buy my own batteries, can we get better lights & sounds

I dunno why all these crazy people give Ironhide such a low rating. His truck mode is SUPPOSED to look large, because of the robot it forms. As for the head, can't really argue there. In bot mode and combined bot mode, no complaints.

Looks like a toy that a Pre-schooler would have at the beach. I don't like it. I think the Superlink version looks a lot better, though. Thank god I'm not a completist.

We should be thrilled, the g1 version of Iron hide had no head...so its no wonder they over compensated.

I think this TF was directed more toward the younger generation. He looks like he should have been with the Playskool TF GO Bots. But other than that he look pretty cool, especially when combined with Fast Spaceshuttle, I mean Jetfire, yeah that's it. :p

An underrated TF by any means, vehicle modes looks good (stick highwire on the back,btw) Robot mode looks powerful and imposing, A+ articulation, satisfying transformation, good proportions. the "helmet" does tuck down over his eyes to help hide his head

whats the deal with the fixed head? It takes away so much from his jeep mode. Robot is fine, but i feel it was lazyness not to make the head at least turn.

He's a perfect looking robot, good articulation, nice colors and then you transform him to a jeep and...there on his roof sits his head in plane site..its in a fixed position so IT CAN'T BE MOVED! and it ruins his jeep mode completly. -5 points 4 that

The head on this thing really bugs me. Robot mode he is great..but as a jeep his head stays put, and it looks awful. i can't beleive they let that slip! There is NO EXCUSE for this. Its a shame for an otherwise good toy. but loose the play school look.

he looses major points for the head being easy to see in jeep mode. otherwise he is perfect, he is better as the top 1/2 for JF, other then his inexcusable jeep mode, you can't even turn the head! but he is ok.

The original Ironhide didn't have any sort of head. This one has a head that can't be hidden! Weird trade-off.

This is my first Energon figure and I have to say that it turned me on to the entire line. The sculpt for the robot modes is awesome. The truck mode is very playskool but I have to admit it is sturdy. The transformation is good too.

Highly underrated. Nice solid feel in both forms, good weapon, although the transformation is a wee bit weak. Passing on this would be a mistake.

The PlaySchool truck mode really bothers me. The robot mode is very poseable and looks pretty cool. Jetfire is a must with this figure. The combination of both of them creates some cool figures.

Articulation in robot mode is outstanding! Vehicle is kinda large and cartoony but still looks good. Transformation is fairly simply. Despite other reviews, I *love* the head with the triple rocket launchers. This should be your first Energon figure.

The head should turn around in Vehicle Mode. His Robot Mode rocks and he's great in either Powerlinx Mode. Still, when I think "Ironhide", I think "Hummer".
