Great toy I thought he was cool on the show and sure the head is right there in the deal, but it's what makes him different looks good in all of the modes

The guy's head is clearly visible on top of its roof while in vehicle mode, which totally kills it for me. The robot mode is okay, I like his size.

Nice style but the joints are a little iffy. Articulation is fine. Weapon looks better when gone. Only realy complaint is that the head needs to be hidden better.

Energon Ironhide rules!!! Cuz he kicks butt!!!! Even cooler than his G1 ancestor!!

This is a hard character to sum up. He could be be better, but I won't rag on him because he's ragged on enough.

He is a great car, but the robot mode is dumb.

Kinda quirky, and the exposed head in truck mode Is kinda dumb, but looks good in robot mode. I like to extend his legs out like he's powerlinxing while in robot mode. Makes him look taller and less "kiddy"...

Head is ugly and seeable in vehicle mode. Legs are too big in robot mode and Powerlinx modes are bad too. Overall a poor Ironhide.

Ironhide is a good transformers, but the head in veichle mode is visible... is this a robot in disguise?

like treadbolt a shelf warmer and hirs robot mode looks weak! his guns also cannot be held in his hands and have to be downgraded to sitting on his shoulders!

This toy has a terrible vehicle mode. Just...terrible. It's robot mode is decent, but not decent enough to get him a 2. His arms can't extend past his shins.

They just keep fu**ing up ironhide. His original didn't have a head and this one u can't get rid of it. In fact he has to be the worst of all Autobots in history of all Autobots, not like any of them from this series is reel good.

The head is dissappointing. Hasbro just don't really care about vehicle modes anymore, it seems. Oh, and N. Tropy, ARE YOU A COMPLETE DUMBASS! THIS IS NOT G1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good,but his head move easily,and with batteries,it can get kinda annoying.

Ironhide is extremely underrated. He's got a great robot mode and alt mode. The visible head doesn't bother me at all.

This is for toy reviews, not flamewars. This thing really does look like a child's toy... With regards to the head, they forgot about the "disguise" part of "robots in disguise". It's not -bad-, just sort of silly looking in all modes.

Great figure. I dont like the head in vehicle mode. Great robot and vehicle modes. Not anything like the G1 Ironhide though. Bluemoonknight, none of the TF look like Tonka's although you might know cause you probably still play with them

Robot mode brought this rating up. The car mode is extremly tonka toy. Bulky and non realistic in detail. 3-4 age bracket. Paint job is horrble.

At first, the vehicle mode looks really unacceptable with the head poking sorely out. However, this major flaw seems to be its only major flaw. In robot mode, this toy looks great. Transformation is sweet. Powerlinx mode with Jetfire is good too.

How lazy must hasbro be to have not bothered to hide his big smiling head somewhere in the rack of red junk on his roof?If I were him i'd walk to save myself the embarassment.Then again maybe ironhide is a little TOO proud of finally having a head.
