Excellent remold of the star/dark saber. It looks better than the originals imho, but it gets a 9 because its a remold

Great new cybertron jet modes, and the 'glowing' effect of the transparent yellow is sweet. 'bot modes look unchanged though, still have that 'am I a minicon or a micromaster?" thing happening...

A great way of retooling and repainting the Star Saber Mini-cons from Armada. Still no way to "cheat" when keeping them together, but otherwise, a nice weapon for your Autobot or Decepticon warrior.

It looks so much better than the armada saber.In saber form it looks like a chainsaw.

Wasn't going to get "another" sword until everyone here said it was different than the original. Much better. When assembling the sword, move Scattor's tailwing behind him (like his robot mode) and the sword looks better.

Excellent, well done! Love the new team, Vehicle modes look like true cybertron airships and the sword mode looks nice and threatening, colors are striking, the original was nice but this is definitely a step up, bravo

I love the star saber idea, although, I dont like the mini-con idea much. The toy is BAD ASS! Aside from the paint job, I like it alot.

Cool colors,& sculpt effects, make this much better than the regular repaints. the only thing keeping this toy from a 10 is that the blade still falls easy from the base. 'Sides that get 2. EVILMUS PRIME

Much, much better then the Armada star saber. Better paint job, design was tweaked so sword actually stays together...Overall just much better in every single way.

Nice update. Solid weapon mode, vehicle and robots feel like more of the same. Good plastic and paint.

Very good play value. Excellent in all modes. I would highly reccomend buying the Energon Saber for any collector/consumer that opens and displays/plays with their Transformers.

Nice Sword Mode. Nice colors. But... no paint of the heads and chests in Robot Modes??? Cheap!!

Good remold that makes the saber mode more swordlike in appearance. each minicon could use more paint apps in robot mode- they look a little plain.

I like the energon saber alot better than armada sabers this one actually stays 2 gether like the look better too!

Badass design looks more swordlike when combined. Also like the new alt modes. It also fitstogether and stays together better than either my air defense or air assault teams.

I like this version of the air defense team. Instead of three planes meshed together to form a sword these actually resemble a sword when combined. That always helps emphasize the concept!! It'll be interesting to see how these play out in the cartoon.

Sweet re-issue! The new "Star Saber" (now Energon Saber) has pretty cool new desighnes which makes the three mini-con combiners look more like they were made on Cybertron.
