Reviews - Masterpiece 20th Aniversary Masterpiece Optimus Prime
Quite possibly the greatest Transformer ever created. The detail is breathtaking, from the vents on his legs to the opening matrix to the moving mouth plate. I love the transformation. He's a bit awkward holding his ion cannon though.
Just thought I'd give you yanks something to chew over regarding the price - just to throw this into sharp relief for you, while you may be complaining about paying $65, here in England I had to pay £65, whic is about $130. So stop whining!
BEST TRANSFORMER EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd gibve him a ten if the Masterpiece optimus wasnt so much better, so if hasbro hadnt given him battle damage or cut of his smokestacks i,d give him a ten, but this is still the best transformer ever apart from the takara counterpart.
With metal parts and heaps of detail, this is by far the most expensive and the bet Optimus Prime you can get. His scale is gigantic and a drop can kill you. So take care of it! Good toy for your birthday boys!
Segatron's a fool, best TF in the history of creation
Yea, not having a trailer is one thing that is to be desired, another is the blaster rifle could have had a LED inside the barrel, Mostly and I dont know what is up with the short stacks, i dont see a infant choking hazard, so why make them short?
this is a great toy a wonderful idea. the only thing missing is a real trailor. but a good toy for a die hard fan.
i think segatron is crazy he gave this guy a one!!!! he is an awsome toy with great show acurracy
Masterpiece is the only way to describe Prime. Finally his greatness has been shown in a figure. AWSOME!!!!!
The word amazing is the BIGGEST understatement EVER for this ultimate transformer
I own alot of G1 Transformers and Prime is and always has been my favorite. This version of Prime is the version I wanted 20 yrs. ago. I bought it (Wal-Mart $55.00 Clerance) and I LOVE it. This is a MUST BUY for any Transformers fan!!!
The Perfect tribute to the Great Optimus. Why couldn't they put this thought into the Energon Prime. The matrix is an awesome touch, and the price is high.......but worth it. Get 2 if you can, great display piece sealed as well.
just like it says on the tfe catalog#2 now, ifonly they would make both megs, a galvy, and a primal + a rod prime to hold/open matrix and a screamer to hold megs pistol
Scourge! Scourge! Scourge! from what i've heard this toy was three years in the making and no matter how much money they make on it they need to repaint him as scourge, hear me, hasbro! give me evil optimus or give me death!
WOW sinply an amazing toy an talk about detail he even has a mouth under his face plate with individual TEETH haha bet yall didnt know that ....anyways an undoubtfully awesome toy must hav for any transfan
omg!! its all sold out at stores i havnt been able to get one since its release but its okay gettin one possibly at the end of this week wish me luckmy tfans..
Perfection! Nothing in the TF line excels like this version of OP. Excellent colors, designs, extras and articulation. A true centerpiece for any true TFan. Now all we need is Masterpiece Megatron or Galvatron.
Dear Hasbro: if you make a scourge repaint i will give you my money for him! :)
I don't own this toy but I want him ! He isn't avaible in the Netherlands :( I need some ca$h... Then I'll buy him some way... No trailer, not the end of the world. We need more Masterpiece figures !!!
Very nice depiction. No trailer- no 10.
I dont own it,but ive seen it.and held it.ITS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hasbro's 20th Anniversary Prime stinks compared to Takara's MP Prime. So I give my Takara Prime a 10+++++++++++
This is the greatest version of OP ever, no Transformer is too much money, this guy is worth ever penny. Who th hell complains about price.( Now if they made a Megatron 20th Aniversery Edition.
who would pay $65 for a hunk of plastic and metal! thats insane! i love it i bought 5 already
