Reviews - Energon Starscream
Great figure, the jet mode is cool and the transformation is easy and intuitive. Robot mode is a lot of fun. The colors don't lend itself well to Starscream, but works great as a different character, Darkscream perhaps?!
The undead/ghost/phantom/battle damaged look is alright but the figure is amazing, a more G1 inspired look than armada with great articulation and pretty cool weapons. If you happen to see him for a good price somewhere, pick him up
Nice little figure. I like how he has more than a passing resemblance to Starscream in the early IDW comics, but the toy came out years before. I took off a point for his weapons, which are huge, and look quite silly.
he should have been ultra or voiager. as dlx he just doesn't work for me and i dislike his weapons
great the first starscream i ever got i love this version...
1 word; perfecto!
He is cool in both modes. Thr hyper mode is interesting.
nooooooo!I´m now ugly but I have got great sword and gun BUT I´M UGLY OH NO but JIHUU!
Starscream talks: Well, I just play with my sword... CHOP! Oh no! I used to be tall and handsome but now I´m a UGLY SHORTY!!!!
ok let me interduce you to the first transformers figure ever with fall apart action
It is a cool toy. only it to bad that Starscream in the tv show is a slave of Megatron and not distroy Megatron to be the ruler of the Decepticons as in Generation One. But any way, i love it!!!
Great toy, good articulation, nice weapons, I just don't like the way the missile launchers are set up. Small complaint, but REALLY fun toy...
Would be a 10 but over time his ball joints in legs and his arms become loose easily and can be a pain. I like his look in robot/jet but his guns are way too big. Paging Dr Freud.
the arms are annoying when transforming him so i give him a 9
It def. has to be a ten cuz its STARSCREAM!
it is great as his orginal g1 self but i dont know ive never had a g1 reissue because i live in scotland
it,s the best toy of wave one next to unicron
i like his robot mode more than his jet and with it his wapon is totally bad ass
A true transformer toy
I never thought that hasbro could make a remould of an old toy look so up to date, hes the best deluxe energon decepticon figure out for now and for once im excited about his repaint coming out.
The first Energon fig from this price point that I got. He's uberlicious! But what can't you fire his missiles in Jet mode? I love the "damage" idea though. I also love it when a seasoned TF collector can't get him back into jet mode correctly.
Always been a fan of this mold. (If you own G2 Dreadwing/Smokescreen, you know what I'm talking about) Smaller than Armada vs. WAY more articulation? I'll take the trade-off. Awesome jet mode. Even better 'bot. Dark color scheme: Dig it. A must-have.
Been around neally as long as Optimus Prime. Has the qualities of the original starscream from G1 and extra things ahd been added. Robot and jet mode are both great with cool detail. Best Starscream made so far
Starscream is an excellent toy. Cool vehicle mode and great bot mode. The weapons could have been a little better and transformation is a bit odd. But one of the best Energon Transformers I currently own.
Great toy! Great posibility, great looks, great everything! I do, however, disagree with EM's post, as paranoiacs don't generally make the best of Decepticon leaders (Just look at Terrorsaur, y'all!)
