cool spaceship mode, but more capture claws? What the !@#$? Looks cool in bot mode, also. Way better than armada version who looked like playskool, especially the ship mode.

Needs a better color scheme and head, otherwise, not a total waste of money. He is bulky looking in robot mode, but not "fat". Combination w/ Ironhide adds points, loses some on odd vehicle mode. What is with these capture claws?

Armada Jetfire has factors that Energon Jetfire has not, such as the better head. Aside from that, Energon Jetfire rules. He has the superior poseability and the better body sculpt. Whoever said pass on him is an idiot. Get this guy...but don't rush it.

I AGREE WHITH MEGAMANX, HIS OLDER VERSION WAS WAY COOLER THAN HIS NEW ONE. I DO LIKE HIS ARTICULATION AND COMBINED FORM THOUGH.I WANDER IF THEY WOULD MAKE A REISSUE OF THE OLD JETFIRE...

In G1 Jetfire was a sleek armored jet with an awesome robot mode, who made the decision from then after that he would be a space shuttle with a fat robot mode? too many fat transformers coming out lately, A+ artic. looks fine as torso or pants, dumb claw

The pictures of this toy really mislead me. The color scheme is the big winner for him. The head does not lock down on the body which makes his just horrible in robot mode. The combo mode with Ironhide is not porpotional at all. Pass on him!

I understand why for the greater good, but he looks bad. Great posability & I like the use of G1 type joints in this new line. Nice use of weaponry but still a ugly unsleek bot, & you need your own batteries For $25 Hasbro can't spare a 3 button cells?

umm....i like armada better than energon but i dont like the gun so i keep the little white tag in.the energon jetfire looks weird.im glad i got optimus armada and jetfire armada cause they look COOL combinded. with overload too

he is medicore, articulation is much better then armada version. but armada version looked better. he is not that great as the top 1/2 of ironhide..i prefer him as the pants. overall he is just okay for the price.

his articulaion is better then armada JF, but armada JF looked better. i don't have ironhide yet, so i don't know how there combined mode is. But JF's shuttle mode is okay..now i'm off to find scorponok!

Lame head. Sound activates to easily. Chunky robot mode, makes a poor top to the ironhide/jetfire convo. Yet another Energon TF that doesn't impress me. Posbility is nice, but it looks like someone sat on the shuttle mode. Not worth the $20

Some of the plastic on the upper part of the shuttle mode seems pretty cheap and flimsy. Would have been nice if they'd designed the upper part to be deliberately removable. They really needed to work on the shoulder connections better.

Good ship mode, OK robot and combined modes. Lots of moving and loose bits, the toy seems to not be particularly sturdy. Still, worth snagging.

Vehicle mode is good but semi-bulky for a spaceship. Robot is looks great but head does not rotate. Joint articulation is great; be sure to grab Ironhide before you get Jetfire.

He's big. He's buff. He's not as cool as the Armada Jetfire. And you're better off trying to figure out the transformation without the instructions. It's easier that way.

The spaceship mode is really sweet!! It's like a futuristic version of our own space ships!!! I like the robot. The figure stands out by looking pretty cool. It sort of looks like a G1 Transformer toy. Hopefully the rest of the toys will look this cool!

Great robot and shuttle modes. I really like how the booter unit is incorpated into the transformtaion. The head scuplt is great. The head could stand to be a bit bigger, this is really apparant in Powerlinx mode when jetfire forms the upper torso.

I like his ship/plane mode but I don't like him as a robot I though his armada version is 10 times better.
