Reviews - Energon Shockblast
Shockwave was probably my favorite childhood tf. I absolutely love energon Shockblast. Nothing but improvements with this homage! Take a look at the chest and the translucent green, does this remind you of something? The big left hand too. Awesome.
It's a great toy, but he gets a nine because he has a brick for a left arm.
He's sweet. Looks enough like his G1 counter part to be a homage but cool enough to be remembered on his own. Verry nice robot mode, weak tank mode, and unique satilite mode. Must get.
It isn't a G1 Shockwave...but nice all the same. I enjoy how they made the single eye look just like Shockwave. This toy looks like a perfect "must own."
An excellent homage and a superb robot mode make up for his lack of innovative transformations.
The plastic reminds me of Actionmaster Shockwave for some reason. The best part has to be the huge blaster arm. Haven't really experimented with the alt modes, but I've heard of fan gun mode with instructions floating around somewhere.
VERY GOOD ROBOT mode Only flaw is that his GUN-ARM has NO articulation. BOTH VEHICLE MODES ARE REALLY BAD/CHEAP BE WARNED. However his alt UNofficial gun mode is pretty cool. I do recommend this one for his Robot mode alone!
awsome figure with cool features!
shockblast is the most awsome toy on earth the only reson im not buying it is i cant freaking find it i wish more came out in NJ
What can I say? Shockwave returns with a new name, and a whole lot of attitude. Robot mode is as good as it gets. The tank is okay, and as is the satalite mode. BEST. MOLD.IN. ENERGON.
i cannot believe all those winers that say: energon s*ucks. look at this toy and dare say it's ugly.
I love his colours, head, gun and his coolness, I think they should call him shockwave
Good body, but this isn't the Shockwave you remember, this is Shockblast the evolved form of Shockwave.
shocblast is way beter then omega supreme even though he is smaller he will kick butt
Surprisingly great, one of the best robot modes in the line. Very stable, capable of a lot. Awful electronic sounds, OK tank mode, very good sattelite mode with lots of tabs to hold it all in place. And a G1 fanwank. A steal at $20.
notbad but notgood either
A heck of a transformer; this guy's got great posability, he's durable, has great coloration, made out of a great plastic, and looks enough like his G1 counterpart to still rule. Slight lack of stability keeps him from a 10. My favorite of the line.
I think shockblast was a one green-eyed decepticon monster.
The vehicle modes are rather sad...one is Shockwave(I'm not calling him Shockblast)sitting down, the other is him doing the splits. OTOH, the robot mode is simply staggering. It looks superb and has 20th Anniversary Prime-level articulation.
Oh my! shockwave is back!! better than eva! Easily one of the best energon toys, get him now!!
Ive finally got him(yahoo)anyway I love the robot mode, great G1 look too him as for the other modes his tank mode is pretty good but the satellite is too odd looking. The sounds are descent for him. Overall I give him a 9/10
prefer to call him shockwave myself. One of the better energon fitgures in the line. i pretty much keep him in robot mode, other modes not to impressive. Good articulation though. Nice to see hasbro learned from beast wars.
Great robot mode with nice poses. However, transformations to satellite and tank mode are simply too easy and "cheap" looking. Hence, even though it's a triple changer, more often than not, you'd have it only in its robot mode.
I think Shockblast is the new form of Scorponok. They are both triple changers and their tech specs are practically the same with only one point differences in fireblast, skill, and endurance. Its also coming with electronics just like G1 Shockwave!
Shockwave returns with a diffrent name and cool body type. No-brainer alert! Go get this guy!
