Reviews - G1 Starscream
Quintessential character of the TF saga, not my favourite seeker but still very important and nice colour scheme. Splendid jet but very frail, like all first wave seekers, wings and stabilizers would break off easily and missiles were lost soon.
The infamous annoying back stabber in all his G1 glory! His classic color scheme is cool. F-15 jet mode will always be cool to me. Bot mode is the seeker mode all us G1 fans know and love. Starscream is the air commander of the most deadly trio!
The details on the jet mode are awesome. The robot mode is great. About the articulation, it does apply to most of the 80's transformers, so I rate based on that time standard, not comparing with the toys now.
i absolutely love starscream and as far as the figure goes i dont mind having this toy he'll always be in my collection.STARSCREAM!! STARSCREAM!! STARSCREAM!!
ss is great but so many parts come of its like your riping him apart but cool figure
This review is based more on the character than the actual toy. The toy is a nice display piece but not much as far as play value. I would argue that this is one of the top ten fictional characters created in the last 100 years. He is that awesome.
Starscream's got limited articulation, but cool design, character value and a great looking altmode make up for that. The choice to buy him all depends on your liking for the character, and whether or not you're spoiled by high articulation.
Who can't like this devious guy. The problem is there are just too many parts to lose or break.
I like the 1984-85 jets in general, good looking alt made, and SS is that much cooler for being the leader. Loses 1 pt for sharing a mold with 5 other guys.
Cool jet, but SS is a great example of the TV show's importance: he's among the most revered characters despite being among the worst toys. Even in '84 I disliked how every wing could detach & his eye sticker that couldn't possibly be positioned correctly
