Reviews - G1 Soundwave & Buzzsaw
Everyone's favourite Decepticon in G1, including me. I own the Microman version who's called "Cassette Man", same mold. Soundwave is just a perfect toy, nothing you can complain about. And I like Buzzsaw more than Laserbeak, cooler colour scheme (gold!).
My favorite TF together with Shockwave. First one I ever got. He is just great in both modes and he has his own army of cassettes. Just awesome. A 10 + for sure.
The Legendary Decepticon communications expert in awesome G1 form! I like his microcassette alt mode which looks very realistic. Bot mode is great with his evil head sculpt, chrome buttons, and minions. The glass chest is epic G1 evil. Soundwave rocks!
I own the microman version, but is kinda like the same. The detail is amazing (this one included some headphones too). And the cassettes, mine came with Laserbeak (same mold as Buzzaw), and the detail is great, from labels to its head. A 10 without a doubt
Just the best ever! I got the TRU rerelease that's actually soundblaster redecoed, but it came with Ravage and Laserbeak. Best money I ever spent!
The best decepticon... ever.
Better than Megatron. I think not. But, this is a neat icon. The micro cassettes are a boon. A little top heavy causes him to buckle at the legs at times.
This guy is better that megatron himself. Blaster will always fall to his feet.
The Best Of The 1984 Series
The best Transformer in the G1 line. Easy to transform and a great figure to display. You simply cannot have a Transformer collection without this guy in it. If only ever character in the line was this awesome.
This guy is freakin awsome I totally recomend him for any collector.
Show accurate, highly articulated. The tapes were great--two toys in one. I didn't even realize his weapons were batteries until I was an adult. They truly didn't skimp on these things back in the day. No collection is complete without him.
Soundwave is about as cool as it gets. Transforms simply enough, but then the tape, guns doubling as batteries in alt mode, etc... And who could forget that awesome VOICE? Plus he was just the BIGGEST guy in the 1984 series. Also VERY good articulation.
Oh yeah, baby! Soundwave is where it's at! not only is pretty show accurate but also he is fun to transform! good ranges of of posability and on top of all that, he's one of the most durable g1 figures in the first wave.
One of the more show accurate ones, buzzsaw is a bit too fragile at the neck though. The figure is really poseable for a G1 toy. definately reccomended.
