the color redeco gives it a 3. everything else is POO. bad mold, poor quality control on Hasbro's part. nothing BUT JUNK.still better than the all yellow one. AVOID this 1. you have been warned, again my Me

I really like him. I picked the last one up at Wal Mart on sale. He has a nice new paint job. I like him in both modes. I gave him a nine because his arms are loose.

Redeco looks alot better than original color. Looks good in both modes, looks better when linked wit Rodimus.

Bought because Tow-Line needed a pair of powerlinx pants. As far as the pants went, it worked, but articulation needed work, paint job was iffy, and despite a good vehicle mode, I give it a 6.

His recolors look cool . Linking with rodimus looks even kooler .It would be cool if Rodimus and Hotshot got totally destroyed , and salvaging them both would spawn Hot rod !!!and make him into a kool transformer , not a lame power link dork .

Great colors in car mode, nice toy to recolor. Interesting and bright robot colors don't do anything neat with a black light, butit looks pretty spiffy otherwise. Not bad for $10, very good for less.

Nice form. Good second version of Tf Energon Hot Shot.

This toy needs lots of work. The doors and arms don't stay up long enough, the head doesn't stay on, and in powerlinks mode, it is pitiful. Please Hasbro and redesign Hot Shot

looks a whole lot better than the original with a lot of little details in car mode and the ability to add plenty of energon weapons. bot mode is lacking in articulation in the head and arms, but overall a great toy.
