the set is nice as a hole. megatron is money well spent but optimus still doesn't do it for me. aesthetically he keeps with the look of energy however so i don't nock marks from that. prime+rodimus is why i got this and i haven't looked back

The smaller optimus is so much better looking and designed than the original. As for the megatron, it's just a smaller a version of the larger one

Excellent set, I don't like OP's Truck mode as much though. It's virtually impossible to hide his head and helmet in this mode. Looks good w/ Prowl, Inferno, and Rodimus though. Megs is awesome. A big chunk of Plasticrack goodness. Gotta love Megs.

Megatron is just like the bigger version in every way except the green is cooler. Optimus is a cool new mold and does not look as fat as the large version and can even powerlinx with other Autobots. This 2-pack is a must own!

I like the smaller scale of him.The weapon is a nice addition.I like the fact that he can combine with the smaller transformers.The reason he got an 8 is the fact that he doesn't have a very good look as either head or legs.

Nothing to say about Prime but Megatron is a sweet character and I like the size of him better than the large one.

This one gets the first 10 for me. Megatron not a thing i would improve. Optimus definantly an improvement but the leg half, what? Upper body is good though. Lots of improvements and does prime look better now or is it just me?

I only recieved the optimus...from ebay..cheap price.It's kool now that you can superlink w/ others,but should kept some size to it.

THe Megatron is where your money is well spent. I hate the trend of optimus prime being god awful ugly. OP combimes best with Rodimus but the hands? Whats up with that? Megatron again steal OP's thunder!

Prime: Surprisingly decent for a fat 'bot with a tiny head and parachute pants. Powerlinx modes are creative but not terribly impressive. Megatron: Nothing to say but "HOT D*MN!" More than makes up for any of Prime's short-comings.

optimus is ok I would have liked to see this megatron be able to combine with Tidal wave like in armada

one thing i don't get: howcome hasbro has to make a transformer smaller in order to make it poseable, shouldn't it be bigger?

The smaller Optimus just looks stupid when he combines with other Deluxes, but it's a decent stand-alone toy. This version of Megatron is superb. It may be tiny, but it takes away most of the issues people had with the first Energon Megatron.

Other than Megatron becoming smaller this 2 pack is awseome. Optimus Prime is a lot better now that he can powerlink with just about every Energon Autobot. Powerlinx Optimus upper body and lower body Rodimus is the best combination out now.
