Yeah, similar to the cartoon. I like the Quintessons better on the G1 cartoon. This is a poor excuse for a Quintesson. This must have been the whiner that the ones from G1 kicked out. Thats what his voice sounds like. HE DON'T TRANSFORM.

I was a bit hesitant because of the price range but as soon as I realized he was out of production it made me sad to think of not owning hime. Than I saw him at TRU and knew i had to have him. Now i finally have a quint in my transformers collection.

After 20 years, they hawk this hunk of plastic rubbish. I wish I saved my money for something useful, or cool or ANYTHING else. what A waste!!!

An interesting and much over-due entry in the TF line, but somewhat lacking, given the price point. Could have used more paint detail, and shouldn't he have FIVE faces?

He looses a point for no torso articulation, Also you can remove the bottom jaw for a better view of the head(s). Also to note in the original series, all the quintessons looked different so this guy would fit in nicely. To bad it took 20 years.

Hope non-TF'ing TFs isn't a trend but a Quint toy is worthy exception. Great concept/detail. Love tenticles, arms have great posability, wish the torso had SOME. Also wish heads were bigger/sculpted more like TFTM. Mouth doesn't open enough> coceals view.

Obviously since I am not a Transformer, I shouldn't Transform! Anyways I like myself and my four other selfs as well...I have more to me than just TF Gimmick I have Many Spark Crystal Ports & Energon Weapon Ports, I have 3 Tenticals, and I am evil! So :-P

Later on i've spotted some pictures of alpha-q in box.apparantly they where able to give him at least three of his faces wich can be switched by a trigger on the back of the model..A musthave for each trans- fan.

This slimy little beast looks awesome! You can create you own army of Quintessons! If you hae the right toys, you can recreate the movie (Sort of). Kinda lame, though. Faces aren't that noticeable through the shark head.

Good nod to the G1 Quintesson league, but Alpha-Q has four masks instead of five.
