I removed his head and replaced it with a spare Tallgeese head from a Tallgeese III model kit and gave him a dobergun, a beam saber and shield to make him into Alternators Tallgeese.

Awsome toy. One of my favorite characters and the cars pretty cool too. And also m1 u said he should have been a t-rex not a car. Its an ALTERNATOR theyre ALL cars.

They got Grimlock's features all right! He's big and burly! Transformation is a horror! I've been transforming transformers 20 years and never ment one i did not enjoy until Grimlock. He is in robot mode and that is the way he is staying.

Not a bad figure. A pain to transform. I almost busted him against the wall a few times. Once you get the transformation down, he's a good figure.

One of the worst Alternators. Either that, or mine is defective. I have only transformed him to robot mode. When I try to transform him again his arms and car doors fall off. I recommend getting Shockblast and this one later.

Looks great in both modes. I don't have so much of a problem changing him into a robot, it is the reverse that drives me nuts. Been tempted to throw him against the wall a few times.

Great in both modes, but the transformation can be fustrating on the first few tries.

Grimlock looks awesome in either mode but his transformation was tough for me. His door & arms fell off but thankfully were easy to get back on. His gun seems to be too big to fit in the hole in his hands. I must have gotten a defective Grimlock.

Great Toy! looks good in both modes. The only problem for me was the sliding mechanism for the hood does not work well. So he was difficult to trensform.

i do not like him. the transformation is overly complic ated and the legs are floppy . i had to get a refund!

The most substantial BinAlt so far--bot mode is hard-core. Great personalized accessories. I like the complex transformation, but it bothers me that his forearms keep popping off in the process.

Great. His new body is like a battle suit. Hard to transform though. There should be a contest like the the g1 pid(prizes in disguise) contest, because it would look great on a patch.

Just got him last night, and I have to say im alot more imoressed than I thought I would be, the challange in the transfromation alone makes it worth the money. A great buy and highly recomended

Has anyone seen the Hasbro version? In all the pics, he looks like he is white instead of silver... but it may just be a reflection....

Grimlock really looks like the G1 Grimlock of old when in bot mode. His transformation is the most difficult and challenging of any transformer that I have (including MPOP). A truly wonderful toy with great articulation, detail and old-school look

Have ALT version. By far the best thought out alt yet. Grimy is perfect as a stang. He is more complex and different than any other alt. Worth $$ for binaltech, worth buying two alts!!

I haven't "played" with my Grimlock and I still gotta give 'em a solid ten.

how can you review something that you haven't play with yet. you can't judge a toy with an image. it's a toy, it's meant to be PLAYED with. (i have to give a number in order to post)

Grimlock as the new 'Stang is working for me.I'm lovin the bot mode ,and the alt mode, dead on{of course}.Plus he comes with his trademark sword!Just wish he had them claws comin out of his rists,that would make for a nice extra.

i think they're playing on the TF dynamic that no matter what their alt mode is their robot doesn't differ that much, the look and proportions stay pretty much the same and his robot mode looks very much like his G1 counterpart

Grimlock as a car what were hasbro thinking I like the figure but the name why dont they call him Trailbreaker or after another autobot car.

great figure but hasbro got it all wrong. they should of named him autbot jazz not grimlock. I mean he looks almost exactly like the G1 jazz with the chest and the head. If they wanted to make a grimlock they could of least made him a hummer h2 or a SUV .

This is one of the best alternators out but Grimlock as a car doesnt make me to impressed.
