Reviews - Cybertron Thundercracker
The jet transformation looks like the G1 version but the robot form needs a little work.
I have to say this guy wasn't on my get list. But he is not as bad as I thought it would be. The only thing I hate is the arm connection. Other than that not bad...not bad
The first part of the transformation was almost like energon starscream's. I like the giant arm cannon but sometimes it can get in the way.
Jet mode rocks! I have a really tight one so my robot mode isn't bad and is not flimsy at all. Design for robot mode could be better, but he is really fun to play with!
Meh. The worst of an excellent line, his shoulders kind of flop about in bot mode, his proportions are all off, and his gun arm is as unwieldy as a fat man on a catwalk. I shoulda passed him up for Hot Shot.
Alt mode is nice but the robot mode lacks. i would have much prefered two actual arms instead of that oversized gun arm which feels like it could fall off any second. overall this just seems to be really underdesigned.
Not impressed. The legs and arms are super flimsy and I'm never a big fan of assymetrical design in robot mode. Even the plastic seems cheaper. The Jet mode is not bad though.
Impressed by the SU-33 design, from the top he definitely looks like a "robot in disguise". Disappointments: Essentially a deluxe-sized Cyberjet, proportions are off (cylinder legs, blocky arm), key gimmick useless in bot form.
Bad design. They should have fixed or trashed it. The legs are small and weak, the shoulders don't snap into anyplace even though one is supposed to. Energon Starscream homage??
This is one cool looking jet. He also has a great bot mode with one mega weapon. A nice return for thundercracker. (The arms on mine don't move around at all so I don't think it matters that they don't lock into place.)
