Reviews - Movie DOTM Shockwave (Voyager)
Shockwave looks amazing in both modes, his weapons are great on him, but not good for use with other figures. He has amazing articulation and detail, both in sculpt and paint. He looks very menacing when you hold his eye to the light and let it shine.
Good figure, cool tank mode, glowing eye lights up under almost any lighting circumstance, best mechtech weapon ever
kinda chunky limbs, no ball joints, hollow legs
hard to find, but worth the hastle. nice articulation and posing, but the tube is annoying and gets in the way. mechtech ports fit 6mm minicon pegs inside, and vice versa
Hands down one of the best transformers out there. Very hard to find. But worth ever penny once you find him. Especially if you had to pay between $40 - $50.
Tube keeps falling off but i dont mind. Very cool. I notice that the alt mode is strange, but when you realize that it is an imitation of beast machine tankor's it becomes acceptable
From the first time I saw him I knew this guy was going to be the best figure of the DOTM line. I was correct. Though some may argue that his vehicle mode is weird, it is meant to be alien. Screw Bee and Optimus, this is the year of Shockwave.
Hard to find at the moment. Like him better in robot mode. Dig the mechtech weapon.
On the fence on this guy. He looks good even if his cannon attaches to the wrong arm. His vehicle mode is yet ANOTHER cybertronian something or nother...would have preferred better hand articulation.
a good figure over all. strange alt mode, fantastic intigrated mechtech weapon, stunning robot mode with a beautiful design. alt is not much of a write home item but the bot is more than worth it. pick this guy up as soon as you get chance
Wanted this figure for a while, seemed like every time I went to the store, I could never find him, finally did. Awsome figure! The only reason why I didnt give it a 10 cause I wish his left hand was not there like G1 figure, but thats being very petty.
I definitely hear Scumbone's qualms, but this figure deserves respect as a faithful nod to G1 SW. He's still quite posable due to nice hip articulation, has a fun transform & cool arm cannon. Sword works well mounted on the gun, too. I have to recommend.
Serious letdown after a year of Classics releases. No waist, wrist articulation.Ugly 'sword'thing,chest/legs hollow, shoulders impeded by torso, unsightly brick of an altmode.
Impressed- I've never gotten a hold of G1 Shockwave and now I see no need. Works great with classics/generations as well. Easily the best movie-verse design.
