more detail than the g1 even overal 2nd best to shocwave

I dig the police car look! It makes Prowl look like the Generation 1 version of him.

Perceptor
Not perfect, but close. 2-door police car seems odd but excuasble considering G1 version was also. Knees could use better range of motion but ankles make up for it. Fun, not overly complex TF'n. Perfect head sculpt, energon nightstick is a great touch.

Very cool version of Prowl, but dissatisfied with the fact his doors keep coming off. And the right front wheel is loose.

Excellent! Easy to transform, yet complex at the same time. Bot mode looks good, with good articulation (exluding the knees). I don't really care for the blight-stick though, but he is a cop-bot! Good toy, recommended.

Prowl is a faithful homage to the original. Excellent in both robot and vehicle modes and his baton accessory complements his police theme alternate mode perfectly.

Laserwave
An excellent figure, with a cool transformation. The knee-articulation is a minus though.

Mine came with a missing headlight, other than that, cool toy, good transformation, good addition, only wish this bot was Red Alert and made the Red Alert Prowl, to keep the Z cars the same mold like G1.

Another solid entry to the line, mine didn't have the problems with fragility that some complained of.Much more sturdy than Grimlock or Shockwave. His nightstick seems a bit dinky. His stuffy, upright posture suits the character to a T.

anyoen else notice that the coloring of Prowls body is all wrong? Initial pics show him being mostly black and white I noticed that a majority of the body on mine is a light blue color that makes the figure look "cheaper" then the other alternators

Fuzzy
Maybe it's mine, but the chest is floppy, the ankles seem like they'll get looser as friction lessens, and last night, Prowl fell over, thumped off Grimlock, and a mirror snapped off. The mirrors are held on with thin pins.

Love this one in both modes, but I agree that his chunky and minimally-articulated legs could use some work. And his right arm keeps popping off during transformation. But I, too, wonder why he wasn't a Subaru. A nice piece, nonetheless.

Anyone who's seen the Binaltech Asterik Red Alert will note that Red Alert and Prowl have swapped their original G1 transformations.

Hmmm...Probably my only complaint about this toy is the lack of posability in his legs (There is some but not a whole lot). Otherwise a very nice and fun toy. WRC remold or new RSX mold, I still would've liked him.

Now I remember why I donn't buy more of these little buggers. The arms kept popping off and whoever came up with that hood mechanism should be shot. Its not going back to a vehicle thats for sure! The blight stick is nice, reminds me of Armada Wheeljack.

Outrider
Ugh. Why wasnt he the WRX, and give this car mode to Smokes/Streak? Infuriating. I like the blue version better, thats the REAL Bluestreak IMHO.
