I hate this molds robot mode. I have to give it a 5 cause'I like the vehicle mode.

One of the best Alternators. Vehicle mode looks like old skids while keeping with modern cars, robot mode is solid. Transformation is a lot of fun, withought being annoying. Weapon is a little weak, but where Alternators aren't focused on this, it's fine.

Good homage to the G1 Skids.

Good mold, although a step was left out of the instructions. The small gun matches the size of the gun in his animation model. Oh, and the head is NOT Ironhide's. It matches animation model like all the other Alt heads, not the toy.

Byrerprime, Great Idea! I certainly hope we see it! I like everything about him, except the flimsy gun. The head mold is awesome!

This line seems to get "cheaper" with each new mold. The only way I can open the doors is by flipping up the rear section first. I think Blaster would be a good choice for repaint, with mega speakers in the back.

Nice Transform! Bit loose in van mode the first few times but better with practice. Too bad the Scion is so dang ugly. Tiny gun is a bit silly but overlookable. Bit of scuffing on the hood right out of the box, look before you buy. Good Ironhide homage.

Excellent transformer which looks good in both modes. Only reason for a nine is that the driver-side door mirror popped off when opening the door the first time. Don't use these mirrors as handles, lol!

Whilst the decals for this mold are good, the Binaltech version has labels which make it an even better homage.

Highly recommended. As good a homage to G1 Skids as Silverstreak was to Bluestreak. We know he's repainted as Broadblast in BTA, but what will Hasbro remold him as?

Very nice van mode, but hard to fit together perfectly.Bot mode has good proportions and overall very imposing and solid-looking with suitably minimal weaponry.No waist articulation,but excellent arms.Too bad the character is a weenis.

Bot mod is rock-solid and full of detail. Transformation is most unique so far. Only negative is rear windows in bot mod, they just hang around in the back. They should have had them fold in. The new box looks good up close, but not collector friendly.

Skids, in G1, was not a VAN but a Honda City HATCHBACK. He's switched manufacturer's but appropriately so. The Scion xB fits his personality, and the Alternators version (sans graphics) is just a bit better then the Binaltech version.

It's only proper Skidz be a Scion (;he was a small mini-van in G1). The packaging upgrade is fitting & much-needed(; the first wave of packaging protected the toy very much & resembled a display case, while the second wave even LOOKED like a budget cut!
