i got this when i was like 8-9 years old for christmas.fun and all,my mum gave it away long after. sadly it is gone. it is an awesome toy for anyone at any possible age,granted you can take care of it with much love and serious care as possible. done!!!!!

The robot mode is awsome. Drill bit is pretty cool. Vechile mode is lame and it takes 5 seconds to transform. Not worth the 39.99 price tag.

i have all of the cybertron line and today i find the new ulimate guide so i think that this guy is hardcore and so is the minicon

Reeeeeeeelly big and a cool alternate mode.He also has a big ax and a mini-con. They just didin't need that other mode.

in robot mode metroplex is insanely huge at 14'' tall,half that in work mode,but vehichle mode is sorta boring but he is very well made and insanely flexible.a must have for sure

Well he doesn't transforms into a city no more(which is a bummer) but other than that, he's still one heck of a bot, that said, he's perfect. But his name was Megalo Convoy.

Had to change it to a 10..Gets an extra point for alt mode, It is cooler than i first thought..While construction vehicle is unique to begin with, I didn't realize that it is a real thing..Very cool, look up Bucket Wheel Excavator on wikipedia..Neato!!

Great to see the big guy again..20 years later he's better than ever..Cool role for him as the Giant leader..Great colors and design..A lot different than the original, yet still Metroplex to the max..Giant mode is awesome, alt mode ok too..Neato!

Great Transformer!I wish he combined with Prime.They should have included 2 Minicons and name them Scamper and Sixgun like the G1 toys.I like all his modes.Wouldn't it be cool if there was a Trypticon,Scorponok,Omega and Fortress Maximus for giant planet.

cool but poor alt mode wish he had a better vehicle hes taller than i thought he would be.

i am going to be getting metroplex and i think he is going to be a pretty good figure for my collection

Cool transformer alternate mode is not that good but robot mode is fun to play with and his cool battle axe sparkdrinker makes him even better but be careful about transforming him he can pinch your fingers badly.

Surprisingly tight joints despite size, very posable. Light pipped eyes that ACTUALLY WORK. And the axe-saw is just awesomeness. Vehicle mode takes a little imagination, but points for something suiting a big bot other than just enlarging an earth vehicle

... and (2) I can get a pretty decent "base" mode, applying the same minicon/energon weapon strategy as above(/below). For RandomHero - if you have Leader-1, put the two side-by-side. The difference is subtle, but its there.

Awesome bot modes (yep there're technically 2) but dissapointing alt mode. So, why a 9? (1) get enough minicons and energon weapons on him, point the chainsaw to front and open key-power & you have an awesome mobile assault mode....

HIS VEHICLE MODE SHOULD HAVE BEEN ALONG THE LINES OF THE G-1 VERSION.THE VEHICLE MODE IS LACKING.ROBOT MODE MAKES UP FOR IT.

Metroplex is the best giant ever.I like when his saw spins.

Great robot mode, and a suprisingly involved transformation. His alt mode is a block of limbs that's a stretch to imagine as a vehicle, but his bot modes really make up for that. Better than I was expecting, and recommended.

Robot mode is just so dang cool it outweighs the less-than-stellar "vehicle" mode. The grow taller feature is awesome. Posability, detailing & head sculpt >homage to original, make it a worthwhile buy. Wish minicon was more orignal, not Leader1 retool

I have to say this is one of those figures that i could just stare at for hours the vehicle mode kinda simple but it makes up for it by having a 3rd mode the brute/robot modthe wepon is huge but the 1 major flaw is the joints are very tight
