Reviews - Classics Bumblebee
How'd I miss talking about this guy back in the day? He's fantastic. My only problem is, well, the jetski-pack, and no weapon.
picked up the RTS version of this fig mostly because of the combination of G1 and movie plus the rub symbol jet ski doesn't stay on very well in vehicle form but otherwise awesome
Great figure, coulddo with out the nearly pointless jet ski trailer.
best bumblebee so far
I accually found him today in the store for 10 bucks. I love the G1 style. The Honda SI is the next coolest thing to a beetle. I know the toy wasn't.now I just need Megatron to complete my classics. Awsome
If Bumblebee can't be a Volkswagen then this is the next best thing: it totally captures the personality and essence of G1 Bumblebee without being licensed. The transformation is surprisingly complex for a Bumblebee toy (before the movie). Real great toy.
i love this bumblebee even better the one in the movie its cool that the jet ski is a jet pack.
I really love this guy and i have to say that it is the best classics figure. He may be short but bumblebee is supposed to be! Sadly, he has no weapons. Get him, its worth it.
He is a very well made figure. I love the new design, G1 BB better watch out, He's got a challenger now. Overall an easy yet very articulate figure. I'd give it a 12.
This may be the best Bumblebee toy we ever get. Better than any before, and in my opinion way better than the movie design. This figure is tough and sturdy, all around well done. Exceptional alt mode and right-on-character bot mode. Neato!
I found a well-painted one: BEST. TRANSFORMER. EVER.
Welcome back Bumblebee. Where you been? A great tribute to a fan favorite. Always one of my favorties, this captures the feel and look of the old VW quite well. New and improved and a great start to what is a great Classics line. Great mold and figure. A+
He is really nice, both modes=great!!
I think this a much better version of bumblebee than G1. DUH! His vehicle mode is great. it has seats inside like an alternator. I wish the trailor stayed on better. Both in vehicle mode and robot mode. Thats the only major flaw. I give it a 9.
I always did like Bumblebee. Now, he finally has a worthy toy version of himself! I'll let slip the fact that he's not a VW Beetle anymore, but his car and bot modes are awesome, and he has plenty of posability. Not crazy about the trailer though.
The return of Bumblebee. He's my first ever Bumblebee figure ever. Awesome!
I hate how the trailer attaches, i wish it would snap one, other than that great bot!
The trailer went right in the trash. He's great on his own, but out of proportion with the rest of the line(Then again, Starscream should dwarf Prime if you think about it.)I hope we get a reMOLD(AS IN NOT ANOTHER REPAINT) of him as Cliffjumper or Hubcap.
This Bumblebee is sweet as cherry pie. BB has always been one of my favorite characters, and this mold definately does him justice. The only thing that would make him better is if he were still a classic VW bug.
Bumblebee es my favorito de todos los tiempos, al fin s ele hizo justicia!!
I almost bought one yesterday; while I can't fault the design, the European QC is frankly arse - all three in Forbidden Planet had egregiously assymetrical stripes, chips scratches, fuzzy paint, misaligned rub signs, etc, etc. sort it out, Hasbro...
Love the revamp and reintroduction. Bumblebee was actually one of the forgotten characters of G1. He is a spy, so give him a form that will help with that.
Quite possibly the best Classic mold so far. I like this toy so much that I will be buying Cliffjumper when he comes out - this coming from a guy who hardly ever buys repaints!
He looks like one of the best classics and is among my fave classics, those being Jetfire, Starscream, Ramjet and Bumblebee. Dont have him yet though:(
Yes, he does transform like an Alternator. He's also the best of the wave 1 deluxes. Unlike the others, he has perfect articulation and poses well. I love the jet-pack; my only complaint is that the trailer doesn't stay well on the hitch.
