Reviews - Classics Rodimus
Near perfect the only minor thing is the overall size. Rodimus is a bit small when compared to other car deluxes in previous lines plus he can NOT hold other peoples weapons cuz hand holes are tiny
"Now, light our darkerst hour!", is a memorable phrase said in the movie by Hot Rod. Now Rodimus, due to Hasbro not being able to keep the same name, is the same character. This figure is highly posible and articulate. it resembles much of G1. Great Fig!
This toy just didn't "wow" me. The whole shoulder/chest connection bothers me and seems flimsy. My least favorite Classic toy so far. However, my least favorite Classic toy probably beats 90% of the toys from Cybertron/Energon/Armada.
The return of G1 HotRod appleases all.
Hot Rod, I'm sorry, "Rodimus" is an awesome homage to the original. All the classics transform almost identically to the original, and Hot Rod stays true to his G1 self. Mine had some chrome paint dragged across the rear panel during production.
Nice remake of Rodimus! Better than Energon Rodimus. Two thumbs up!
This is another great toy in the classics line. If the body pannels lined up a litte better in car mode I'd give him a 10. Even the way they are he sill ROCKS!
Great figure all around. The only thing I think they could improve is the size of his head. I like the new and old one the same. I don't care for the old Rodimus Prime very well.
Beautiful car mode is marred by a tendency for his panels to not line up well at all.Great bot mode, but flimsy chest/shoulder connection.A tiny bit more QC would have given him a 10, but he's by far the best version of the character ever made!
Hot Rod has been upgraded! I should have waited for this version instead of the high priced commerative series Rodimus Major. Weapon can double for rocket pack & saw blade from the movie is icing on the cake.
This is the Classics toy I was most anticipating, and he rises beyond every expectation. Finally we have toy version as sleek and sporty as the character always was. Great articulation, sturdy 'bot mode, slick alt mode...one of the best TF toys ever.
better then the G1 toy by leaps and bounds, now if they can only make a Rodimus Prime toy as good, (or a triple changer Rodimus Prime into a Truck into Hotrod into a sports car,ok a 4 changer, to play the final act in the movie)
Wow. What more is there to say. Car mode is awesomely slick, TF is satisfying for a deluxe, and robot mode has that "young & cut" look. Maybe I'm bias 'cause Hot Rod was one of my favorites, but I find Rodimus to be a very solid figure. Money well spent.
This toy is good. It is probably my least favorite thus far, but it is still a good toy. I have two problems with it. He is bulky & limited in range of motion, and secondly, his quality gives that, "I hope I dont break him" feel. He isnt bad, though.
Nice!!! is all i can say . his hand even turns in to his saw he had in the movie. but hasbro calls it a data link...bite me !!!
Another win for Hasbro. Alt mode is spot on to the original Hot Rod. His bot mode is a great update and the hand saw was a fantastic touch. I only give him a 9 because I find the doors on the sides of his thighs a bit limiting to his leg articulation.
This truly is a great figure, from the sculpt to the articulation. Hasbro has done a wonderful job of updating the original Hot Rod toy in both modes. He's somewhat smaller then your average deluxe, but I think it works well for the figure. A must have!
