This was my first MP and I love it. The colors look great IMO. The silver paint isn't chrome, but overall it does really look like what he was like in TFTM. Blue gun is odd but within the context of the figure itself it doesn't look out of place.

Very good figure but the voice box thing on the stand is not the original voice actors voice, Peter Cullen it's the voice of someone they randomly picked off the streets lol

Whoever said his voice is terrible needs a swift kick in the jeans. If I'm not mistaken, it's his original G1 voice actor. Overall, and amazing figure. I don't actually own one yet, but I've spent a lot of time with my friend's and I love it!

This prime is really awesome but hard to transform.

An awesome figure, he RULEZ!!! no matter what I said before (payloadrulez thats me) I love his axe and gun they, like the rest of him too, RULE!!! All people to there own, but I can't possibly see why any one is complaining about him.

He's alright, i got him for my birthday, i think though that he should have more plastic on him so that the paint does not flake off so easily.

it has been a log time since i have been able to find a mrasterpiece toy at traget last year but at least he was on sale

Very detailed and realistic. Found him today on the bargain rack at walmart for 35.00. Very complex transformation. Might be the hardest one to transform. Now I just need starscream, and megatron.

The figure is great but the voice is really retarded.

I saw him at Wal-Mart a couple of days. Looks pretty cool in the box and makes cool noices. Not sure If I'm willing to shell down the dollors for him. I already have two primes.

Oh,and to all the retards,it's called DVD edition because it was made to celebrate the release of the 20th anniversary DVD.

My only real complaints are an inaccurate vehicle mode and WAY to tight leg transformation.

Looked great in the box. Horrid out of it. Plastic feet, Top Heavy, Blue Gun, and NO PETER CULLEN VOICE! This is just HASBRO cashing in on the wave. I bought one and kept it in the box. I have the Takara and original US release. They are by far Superior!

I dont know why everybody bitches at the smallest things that are wrong with this figure, I think it's freakin awesome and is the best toy ever.

I actually like the repaint better than the original, but it's all a matter of taste, they both look good. I would prefer the black gun, but the blue doesn't bother me. Great poseability, sturdy as hell, all around a great figure.

your absolutly correct it is best prime now .but it will never beat the g1 prime. if your a true fan you will that .

This is THE PRIME... All other Optimus Primes are commendable efforts, but this is the only Optimus that we learn to love and idolize... The best Optimus Prime, even beatin the likes of RiD Prime and Cybertron Prime... Me only complaints is the Blue gun..

i couldnt find a masterpiece op so i got this. its good but the only flaws are ugly paint job cheap plastic bad voice for stand there is NO dvd (yet it says DVD EDITION) overall it is not good, but not bad
