Reviews - Classics Mirage
Dont have but might get. Though he doesn't have the original sponser, I just LOVE Witwicky Sparkplugs-as in "Sparkplug" Witwicky!
Mirage is the perfect shape and size (thin as a rail) to be the autobots spy
My only complaint is that the mid-section doesn't snap into place like Bumblebee. But that is just me being picky. I was originally going to pass on this toy - I sure am glad that I didn't. Mirage is a great toy! Easily one of the best Classics so far!
He's a skinny one. Still, I think this is what Mirage should look like. He gets 10 mostly because his decal says "Witwicky Sparkplugs" (even though I wish they would've put "Citane" on there somewhere) and "Lithonian Drivetrain" in reference to the movie.
Great throwback to the original. Rubsigns are the greates. The fact that he is "spindly" gives new meaning to his name, Mirage.
This is a Superior upgrade to the original Mirage! Awesome Formula 1 alt mode and excellent robot mode. Mirage has excellent articulation so striking poses should be no problem. This is the second time I have reviewed him, gets better with age.
Classics continue to pay homeage with an Alternator feel. Articulation is better than Alternators & both modes rock. Classics Mirage edges out Alternator Mirage as the best Mirage to own. Outstanding sponsor replacements!
A little to light and delicate but, amazing nonetheless. Still wish they didn't do rubsigns for the symbols. Not the toy's fault.
Spindly, but with amazing articulation. Each leg has at least 4 joints, each arm 4 (if you count the fist). The robot mode has a gun storage spot on the back and if you can get past the weird junk back, it's one of the best figures in the line.
Not a bad homage to G1 Mirage.
