AWESOME The only thing that stinks about the figure is that the chrome on mine is flaking allot.

Oh man, I got to get that toy. It just looks OUTSTANDING! I have $21.08 and I'm supposed to get $40 by the end of august 2010. Plus I have a $10 gift card I haven't used yet. I really REALLY want this toy.

I haven�t reviewed in so long. I bought him on eBay for just under $50 in an auction on Friday (8/29/2009). My Laserbeak seems cheap, otherwise no complaints.

I think he's great.Wanted the original but could not find it.

Soundwave has always been my favorite Decepticon. I still have my G1 Soundwave but I was very happy to buy this version also. There is something great about this character!

A great reissue of a great character. The double door is distracting at times, but actually adds to the figure itself. Plus, it's G1! ^_^

i just had to go to toys are us i mean this is one for the yearbooks i have all other soundwaves like g1 soundblaster and all other reissues but who cares they should reissueing because soundwave is a god

A totally g1 reissue...I just can`t get enough of this toys. Even better with Laserbeak and Ravage

Soundwave was always one of favorite decepticons. He's just like the original. Wish they would reissue all the cassettes. It might be time for an updated soundwave that turns into a cd or dvd player. Cassettes are outdated.

Now I see why Soundwave ranks among the most popular of the Decepticons. Great mold, interesting use of components, and he really fits in with my Real Gear Robots. Only real nitpick is that the casettes aren't as good as Soundwave himself quality-wise.

Soundwave is awesome but the Gun barely fits in hand, pops out a lot. Cassettes are cool but both are bootlegs. Neither 1 becomes a proper tape. Ravage has 2 heights. Lazerbeak is deformed so badly. They are bootlegs. Official toys should not be bootlegs.

The only problem is you put stickers on it yourself, but thats funner to most people. I love soundwave.

Anyone who hates this toy is a terrible person and Not a transformer fan. This is one of the BEST toys ever.Must Buy ASAP

Awesome figure! I never had the chance to have soundwave the first time around, so this is def a treat to have. There are no flaws to this fig. Looks great in both modes and ravage and laserbeak are hella coo. $30 is worth the price.

This was an awsome treat for me. I had Soundwave when he frist came out and lost him. Luckly I kept the cassettes. Now I got him back with his own little army to do what he wishes

One of the best of G1 comes to the states with a slight update. Great toy! Go get it if they're not all gone.

So great I thought about getting a fireproof safe for it. I have the titanium too and if you drop it his leg comes off but haven't bothered to drop this one yet :p

Got it for Easter, yay! Awesome to be able to get this guy brand new again in 07..So much fun,really takes me back..Perfect choice of cassettes to pack in with him, I always loved the Ravage toy. Soundblaster chest makes this better than the orig. Neato!

I feel lucky to have purchased Soundwave. This is a great transformer which will instantly bring back memories for anyone who grew up in the mid 1980's. Highly recommended!

I just got the figure for my birthday.I love it!Laserbeak and Ravage are great accesories.But I do have some complaints.#1:Soundwave should come with all 4 original cassettes.#2:The eyes are yellow,they should be red.#3:Where do I place the labels?

My 10 star review below still stands. This is one that's worth raising both hands for. Looks great in both modes. Nice accessories. Easy and fun transformation. My 4 year old has been getting a real kick out this one. Great for display AND play!!!

The perfect re-issue! It's nice to finally have a Soundwave with tight joints again, and the tapes are too too sweet. Only complaint is that ppl write reviews before the buy/see the toy!
