Reviews - Armada Demolishor w/ Blackout
Vehicle mode looks okay, is much improved when you attach Blackout (looks more like a real tank). Lots of Powerlinx hardpoints. Love the seat. Robot mode has two thumbs on each hand, otherwise cool. Looks like he has an attitude problem.
A very good robot all around, good movement on all the limbs, nice looking modes, and cool transform. Loses points for not being able to move his head at all.
Demolisher is da BOT!. Blackout is not so cool. Demolisher's only flaws are he has no hands and his head dosn't turn. He is is not that posable but considering the complexity of the figure Hasbro did well. One of the best Overall. A MUST HAVE!
Greatest. Wave 1. Ever! This guy not only rocks, he demolishes the competition (hehe). Blackout could be a bit more stable when placed in launcher. Remenicent of BM generals. Most highly recommended!
Wow. If the majority of the the line is like this, then stamp Armada a success. Awesome tank mode with an excellent paint scheme and lots of play value. His robot mode just has tons of personality and is really pretty poseable. Blackout rocks.
Menacing tank mode, the one arm launchers don't work right on mine. Love the way his treds form the legs, not to crazy about the turning lower body aroud to form them though. Robot mode kind of looks like a female Decepticon. Ugly head. Blackout is okay.
Demolishor is a great toy. I would have to agree with CrisisNDoom the missles not being lauchable on one arm but that's ok.Get this toy.
Demolishor is by far the best of the firstwave Deluxes! He has an awesome color scheme and I love the cybertronian tank-mode! Robot mode is sweet. Cool gimmicks though it'd be better if both missile launchers fired. Overall: Highly Reccomended
By Far my favorite of the Deluxe toys so far. A Great Robot and Tank mode with a nice amount of Detail and a great color scheme. I just wish that Blackout was cooler and that you could turn his darn head!
Impressive new figure with old school G1 look. No major articulation in arms and no hands-just laser figures. Don't be deceived, only 1 arm launches missles. Recommended.
Missile tanks are really cool. His robot mode is not.
Awesome--Amazing transofrmation and minicon integration, both forms are great and well--what can I say? amazing? ^^ A cool tank--a MUST have ^^
Aside from the cartoonish "snarl" on the face, a fairly impressive toy. Very mechanical, military and utilitarian looking: Somewhat drab color scheme is effective because of this. Don't really like the name, but I guess it's appropriate.
He's a little short as a tank, unlike Megatron, but he's packed with WEAPONS! A one robot arsenal. My Blackout has a loose lower leg that makes it hard to stand, don't know if that's common. Great gimmicks, great robot mode, resonably good at posing.
Another great toy from Armada. The pipes for fingers takes some getting used to but the rest of the toy is awsome. Great sculpting and detail. Tank mode looks like it can kick @$$! Color scheme and sculpted Decepticon symbol is especially cool.
though he looks bigger in the pics, i must say i'm impressed. this is the best 1st wave armada toy there is. no hands keeps him from being perfect, but his transform is a little more difficult, which i love. get this one first.
Greta toy. like the paint scheme and Blackout. Hands are cool. Could use more articulation, but i don't really care. recommended for kids and collectors.
Demolishor is a solid toy that anybody would enjoy. He has a well-done color scheme, and doesn't look gaudy. His legs are tricky to change. Blackout helps make the toy cooler with its "trigger" function. He's fun, and isn't that what its all about?
Most solid Supercon--& only a chrome spray op away from being a SkyNet HK tank! Both modes VERY imposing, surprisingly poseable as joints have good mobility. Blackout...I could take him or leave him. Sweet gimmick--missles *armed*! Fire!
My only complaint? Slight lack of posability (arms mostly)but, hey, There is no WAY I could junk it, this guy's awsome! Great for the inner child who can't keep his hands off his toys. Nice paint, glad he's my first Armada Con. Blackout's nice too.
Wow he's small! From the pictures I expected more, but so far he's my favorite. Hate his legs, and as with the rest I would love a few BALL JOINTS! Over all looks good and his minicon can drive him, neat!
The color detailing on this thing is incredible! And the Mini-Con gimmick is great, a simple missle launcher. Shame he couldn't do it for both sides. Blackout's transformation is nice and simple and he looks good next to Demolisher.
It is articulate toy and my favorite part about the figure is actually the seat in robot mode since it holds blackout perfectly. Blackout while his body doesn't swivel delivers a fairly posable robot with a cool look.
for this "armada" thing I think its one of the better ones out cool tank mode nice detail and one of the few with paint wash trick (the part above the treds)
The guy rocks, end of story. If it wasn't for that stupid bit of plastic coming out of his back, he'd get a 10. He just looks TOUGH! Blackout is cool, but very retro, not very TF-like at all. He's the best of wave 1 that I've seen, for sure.
