Reviews - Energon Inferno
Impressive. Easy transformation, nice mold, great articulation, and very good powerlinx mode, both arms and legs.
The vehicle mode looks good esp. with the rotating part. The robot mode looks average and it could have been better if the tubbiness is reduced. However, this toy is great for powerlinx so it's a worthy buy.
i think its really cool but the thing thats its not ironhide takes the rating down the ironhide should be brawn or something
Inferno is great he is great what ever mode he's in,I love his powerlinx mode and looks great as the legs of who ever i combine him with.
I love the ww look. Yes the head could have been hidden better but oh well. Powerlinx modes kick butt. Great weapon.
This Inferno pays a lot of homage to his G1 namesake. Pretty simple transformation, despite visible bot head. Ultra cool!
Inferno is decent, but not WONDERFUL. A solid $10 TF, tho his tf'ation is a bit easy to compensate for the fusion peices. Good colors, good posability, good weapon. Fun toy. makes a great bottom or top of fusion. (especially top)
Inferno is a great toy!!! I love all of his combiner forms and his robot and vehicle both look good.
First energon transformer I got. It looks cool in both modes and looks great when combined with Hotshot, i can't say anything bad about this toy.
ths probaly the best deluxe figures in the first wave. the only problem i have is in robot mode the head just dosent stay on and the gun keeps coming off in fire truck mode. the powerlinx inferno mode is awsome. the best in wave 1 for deluxe.
I too like Inferno's War Within-esque look. Like Ironhide, his head could be concealed better when in vehicle mode. Otherwise carries all of the things I love about energon toys, sturdy and posable, looks great in both modes, combination modes are GREAT.
First Energon figure I got, and I must say, if they're all like this, I am gonna be collecting for a LONG time..... love the transformation, very nice homage to the G1 Inferno can't wait to Link him with Hot Shot (And if what I hear is true, Hot Rod)
Inferno has alot of excellent qualities for us collectors. Blocky like G1 yet posable. Big boom stick on his arm looks cool. Yet it doesn't look like too much. He's designed the way G1 Ironhide should've been.
Inferno is sweet. His weapons are great. He also looks like his G1 self. Inferno is also able to powerlinx with Hotshot which makes it even better.
HE is Fire !!!!!Love him better then hotshot n i love the powerlinx inferno better then powerlinx hotshot, go get it, its worth 10 bucks!
A cool introduction character in Energon. Head is loose in any mode, but does well as "pants" and torso mode. Can't wait to combine him with Rodimus and Prowl.
Not bad, the joints are strong. The Vmode is nice, my main complaint is the way the head sits in Rmode, it's just not right! but it does look good as the top half in PLmode all the way around. Nice gun too, still watch for cheap plastic
i like it.but on the back of robot looks kinda weird.i like it wen hot shot and inferno powerlinx itz cool.legs of powerlinx hot shot r ok .when itz powerlinx inferno i like the cannons on the shoulders.reminds me of powerlinx prime ar a jetfire arand ol
Looks like G1 Ironhide. I see a new kitbash. Really great combined with Hotshot. Not super crazy about weird toddler looking gun, otherwise fantastic toy.
A SOLID TRANSFORMER,I REALLY LIKED HIS ARTICULATION AND COOL GUN.BETTER THAN HOT SHOT,BUT NOT AS GOOD AS JETFIRE.
i don't like the way he looks from the back, and he has no crotch! his legs come straight out of his stomach. otherwisw i like him, when transforming him into truck, there is something that reminds me of g1 optimus, don't know why just does.
Powerlinx Hot Shot looks cooler, but P-linx Inferno can hold his missile launcher on the side of his arm, with Hot Shot's launcher in one hand and the Energon Saber in the other. Plus, mount Firebot and Makeshift (of the Emergency team) on his shoulders.
Very nicely done, looks tough in both modes, (again, fat TF's?, not that it deludes him any) powerlinx inferno rules, too, the joints for his head/neck are a little tiresome, overall good job
my trs didn't have any hot shots, so i can't combine him yet. But this gut is an awsome autobot. The only thing i don't like about this guy is that he has no backside, otherwise he is perfect! Articulation gets an A+!
Nice job. He is a definite homage to G1 only with much, much better articulation. Great job on his details. He reminds me alot of G1 Ironhide for some reason. He's great w/ hot shot, but also great on his own. What a great addition to the Autobots.
