Nice G1 homage and the bot mode is great--very posable. The Laserbeak and weapons design are a huge improvement, and it's overall more streamlined and cooler than G1. Alt mode flawed, but fans/collectors will want to keep it in bot mode anyway. Buy it.

With such a great character towork from, this fig had excellent potential. The bot mode if a very nice homage, even with the arm kibble. Laserbeak is well done. The jet mode is abismal, loose transform and constantly popping apart, keep in bot mode!

overall there are a lot of minor flaws like the boms not fitting on the wings, and the legs refuse to work when transformed back into jet mode. Laserbeak is awsome though and the toy is allright in robot mode.

Delta Supreme
As a homage, he fits the bill almost perfectly, tape door, details like shoulder / waist paint, shoulder cannon, minion all +. Wings, shield / cockpit on arms, awkward transformation (still figuring out legs) - Laserbeak and guns OK, not great.

Nice homage but his robot mode does not look like G1 sound wave except for the cassette compartment. skinny weak legs, laserbeak is so so..could have been a real winner

Soundwave looks superb. I'm glad they have him listed as a Decepticon in the Cybertron line whereas he had neither (or both) alliegance in Galaxy Force.

I kind of agree with the Cap'n; the jet mode is a bit shabby, but I think this is because the joints aren't precise enough for it to look 'tight' - i reckon it's a cool design badly served by low production values.

Although a soundwave toy was long overdue, the jet mode just looks shabby.I appreciate the homages to the G1 SW,but he just has a flimsy feel to him.'Bot mode, however,is VERY impressive, and Laserbeak is amazing by himself.

Wow. the first Soundwave representative of the true character since the G1 continuity, and it's rather good; nice sculpting, loses points for akward TF, gets them back for robot mode: every 'Wave fan should own one, but still not as good as first, but...

...the cylinder-cassete-Laserbeak thing is pretty cool; satisfying transformation, lots of moving parts, nice color homage to the original. Just a pity his talons are a bit too big. still, you don't notice when they're folded back.

Not worth 50 bucks to import. Very little detail in Hexagon/Laserbeak, its just a plastic appendage with some minor detailing. Soundwave's alt mode is very clumsy looking. Thats supposed to be a stealth fighter? And the bird like face is just overdone.
