I love this toy. I don't know why everyone's dissin' him cause he's not like the G1 Hot hot...so what? This toy is perfect and I love the cannon but if the arms where fixed and you could actually move them, then it'd be a 10! -Scourgejet

No Transformer could be this bad. NO way. Transformation is bad, looks bad, bad gimmicks. NO Way.

Hasbro has got to be kidding us. This toy can't be an Autobot. It really stinks.

I am sorry, but I have nothing positive to say about this toy. It's just terrible in both modes, ugly coloring, and Jolt isn't that great either.

I've read the other reviews that's already here, and I have to agree with most of them. This toy is so bad, I am surprised it was made into production while other figure like BW Neo Unicron didn't make it.

Good thing I kept my receipt, because I can't wait to refund this toy. Hot Shot is terrible in every aspect, from color, looks, transformation, gimmicks, mini-con (Jolt is not as good as everyone said he was, and Hot Shot don't really need him.)

what is the matter with hasbro? why do they make all the autobots in the armada line really bad? i can't believe i rushed out to get hot shot only to find out that he is really ugly and transforms like a mcdonald toy. come on, hasbro, shape up!

Unless Hot Shot is a combiner and he forms into a bigger robot, Hasbro has got to be kidding when he think they can get away with calling this a Transformer.

This transformer leaves much to be desired for. Poor color scheme, poor transformation, and overall unattractiveness of this toy makes this a poor choice from Hasbro. Avoid at all costs.

major disappointment. after RID's nice car modes, we get this chunk of plastic that is ugly and not posable. can't sell this toy on ebay either. i think i wasted my money on this toy.

I gave my son this toy for his birthday. He cried upon receiving it. I had to return it to the store immediately for a refund. Is this character suppose to be a bad guy or something?

I want to give him a six but his arm posablity keeps it at 5. He may be yellow but the potential is there.Too bad it wasn't fully delivered. hes still a fun solid toy with a quick transformation, i call it "My first Armada"

Oy... where to begin? The color is horrible. If it HAD to be yellow, why not name him Bumblebee? The articulation is abyssmal (like most Armada toys), and the minicon is just... eh. I had higher hopes than this toy delivers.

A prime example of man's inconsiderate wasting of Earth's precious resources on useless pieces of trash, such as Hot Shot. Ugly design, uninspired transformation, stupid gimmicks - Hasbro, let's recycle all the Hot Shots.

It's good, not great, only buy this transformer if your a collector.

BAD VERY BAD

Hideous beyond belief. Better than the CR/RiD cars, but that's not saying much.

Not one of the best Armada toys, but he really grows on you. Why do non of the Armada toys apart from Optimus Prime have proper guns?

Lacks at first, but really grows on you. Looks cool holding the Star Saber. Articulation isn't great, with the exception of the ball joints in the legs. Jolt is also one of the best Mini-Cons and can even hold Hot Shot's engine.

Hot Shot was my first toy I transedformed him and it was easy. This was diferent than the other one. He is so cool.

Garish, brick-ish, and unposeable. Yet it has charm, neat gimmicks and a lot of play potential. The Axle bazooka is cool, Jolt is cool and is a good partner.

Hot Shot is one of the Armada toys everyone says they hate but buy anyway because his vechicle mode is attractive. Jolt is cool & well made & the axelzooka is funny & inventive....he's a keeper in my book.

I'm a little dissapointed of the size of this toy (got Megatron 1st!) Still he is a lot of fun, car mode with the engine and Jolt attached makes one wacky racing car. I find the robot mode a bit plain (perhaps a Star Sabre makes this better?!)
