I got this toy a while back and am quite satified with it. I can see y many dislike Hotshot, if you can look past the obvious faults he really is a great toy. I like the axlezooka a lot. Good vehicle and pleasing colors.

How did this toy make it out of the go-bots line and into the Transformers line?

Not as bad as people say, but still not fantastic. Slightly playschool-esque vehicle mode, but still looks pretty nice. Robot mode is my major beef here, lacking somewhat in poseability and appearance. Nice minicon in Jolt.

The only saving point is the Car mode and mini con

Terrible alt mode - painted windows, playschoolish looks, badly designed, lurid flat colours. Even worse robot mode. Barely posable, with terrible looks - he's barely humanoid. Overall very poor indeed. Jolt's quite nice.

This was the first Autobot that I got in my Armada Collection. Franky It looks like a Toy made from Tonka or Sumthing. To be Blunt You could take him or leave him! Not Impressed. He would be better if he was a metal toy!

The only problem I had with this toy was the minicon feature. The big cannon gets stuck on the minicon when I go to activate it. (unless Im doin it wrong, which is highly possible lol). Other than that, I liked this toy. Cool minicon, cool features.

Omg. This had serious potential, until they messed up with more gimmicks. The arms are horrible,& it cant move its waist. The only reason it gets a 6, because its cool in car mode. (I dont think others know about the gun chest thing.)

Pretty cool. I like the boxy feel. Pretty easy transformation - I like the flip down visor. Hidden canon is definately the best. If it was more posebale and had a gun, I'd give it higher marks, but overall a worthy investment.

I really like Hotshot. The articulation and the weapons are good. Hotshot is defently cool enough to hang out, drink slurpees and check out girls at the local 7-11 with the other teenage Autobots: Bumblebee, Cheetor and Sideburn, they are so cool.

Nice G1 feal. Mini-con interaction is pretty good, ecspecially the axelzooka. Lack of paint keaps him from a 9 though.

hnnnn....some transfomers really make me stop and ask is this really what kids want? He seems to have one of those playskool TF feels. Saddly i found them more impresive.Buy him if you like muster yellow though......

My only dissapointing point is with the shoulder joint, Jolt.. is a piece of art

wish he had more of a head and more movable arms. Jolt is sweet but that doesn't make up for Hot Shot. so sad. an awsome minicon with a lame master. C++

I don't hate this toy as much as I initially did...but it's still nothing special. I'm going to customize the paint job so my purchase wasn't a complete waste. Armada=kids=money

an Alright toy a realy well done car mode the robot mode is not great but OK I also like the deploying cannon and jolt is very cool but a little dull over all.

this is the worst transformer yet it the only redeming part is jolt i find that jolt is so much better. better articulation and a better over all look

Ok... he is not one of my faves. His MiniCon gimic leads to several bad jokes and his robot mode is not to be desired.

I think that Hot Shot is a good attempt, but it could've been better. The robot mode is too simple and looks weird. The only things good about the figure were Jolt and the Missle feature.

It looks like they took a red sports car transformer and painted the robot mode red. Docking area for Mini-con and it's super-guns don't like to stay in place, either. Jolt is more fun.

I can not see what the big problem is most people have with Hot Shot. Hes a cool figure and I even like his face. It kind of reminds ya of a BumbleBee look.

He's got a great car mode, but that's about all he's got going for him. The colour is blindingly awful, and the robot mode stinks. He's irritating to look at. Just doesn't seem to fit in with the rest of the line.

I thought this toy was cool looking in car mode but it was very disappointing to look at a peice of junk in robot mode. The arms are not done well and they should have made it a different colour like black or something.

I was rather inpressed with this figure. It looked kind of junky at first, but when you get the toy, it's pretty sweet. Jolt is very cool. I like the cannon that pops up when you attach him to Hot Shot. He is pretty posable and is just plain sweet.
